RJ Decker Ordered to Series by ABC

At long last, ABC has had a decision about a pilot they've long had in contention for a midseason debut. RJ Decker, a procedural starring Scott Speedman, has been ordered to series by the network, now bringing ABC to three new scripted series for the 2025-26 season. With its addition to the lineup, ABC has seemingly completed their scripted programming slate for the year, as it joins Scrubs as a midseason debut, alongside returning favorites The Rookie and Will Trent. RJ Decker centers on a disgraced photographer and ex-con who makes a career change and becomes a private investigator in south Florida. He's assisted by his ex and her police detective wife, as well as a woman from his past who just may help him wind back up in prison. Speedman stars as the titular private eye, while Kevin Rankin, Adelaide Clemons and Bevin Bru co-star.
