Memory Of A Killer Ordered to Series by Fox
Fox has ordered another new drama to series for next season. Memory Of A Killer, based on 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, centers on a hitman that develops early-onset Alzheimer's. The series, set for a midseason debut, is the third new scripted series ordered by Fox for the 2025-26 season, after Best Medicine and short-order event series The Faithful. It is a co-production between Warner Bros. and Fox Entertainment. Patrick Dempsey will lead the cast of the series.
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Ordered to Series by NBC
NBC has made their first scripted series order of the 2025-26 season, ordering comedy pilot The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins to series. The project is produced by Tina Fey and reunites her with her SNL and 30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan, who will star in the series. The series follows a disgraced former football player who tries to rehabilitate his image, and also features a high-profile cast that includes Daniel Radcliffe, fellow SNL-er Bobby Moynihan, Erika Alexander, Precious Way and Jalyn Hall. The first season is expected to have a ten-episode order. Two other NBC comedy pilots remain in contention for next season, but have not yet filmed, including a cheerleading comedy from the creator of Trial & Error.
The Hunting Party and Brilliant Minds Renewed by NBC
Days after NBC canceled five series, including freshman drama Suits LA and sophomore Found, they have announced the renewals of two of their freshman series. Brilliant Minds and The Hunting Party have both secured second seasons. Neither were strong ratings performers, but Brilliant Minds was the highest-rated non-Dick Wolf drama on the network this season, with a 0.23 average. The Hunting Party was close behind, averaging 0.21 in the key demo. While they were among the higher-rated bubble shows, both are misses for TVRG's NBC Renew/Cancel. Both renewals are expected to be for full seasons of 18-22 episodes, likely keeping them on the schedule for the full season. Both series ran for partial runs in the 2024-25 season, sharing the Monday at 10 time slot. Brilliant Minds, a Warner Bros. production that counts Greg Berlanti as an EP stars Zachary Quinto. Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II and Teddy Sears make up the supporting cast. The Hunting Party is fully owned by NBC, with Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler, Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie and Sara Garcia starring.

Universal Basic Guys, Grimsburg & Krapopolis Renewed by Fox
A trio of animated series have been renewed by Fox, roughly a month after the renewals of four other veteran animated series. Grimsburg, Krapopolis and Universal Basic Guys are Fox's three youngest animated series, with Grimsburg and Krapopolis being in their second seasons and Universal Basic Guys having wrapped its first back in December. Krapopolis is now renewed for season five, though its first and second production cycles did air together as season one, so this fifth season renewal may only take it through a fourth aired season. Grimsburg and Universal Basic Guys have both been renewed for third seasons, as Universal Basic Guys had previously been renewed for a second season before its series premiere. Grimsburg is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide, while the other two series did not yet have predictions. These renewals leave The Great North as Fox's only current cartoon series without a renewal decision. That series is in its fifth season, and is set to air the remainder of season five this summer alongside a new summer animated block.
