It's a bit of a transitional week this week, as the remaining stragglers of broadcast's regular season mostly exit the airwaves, and a few summer series begin their debuts, as streaming originals mostly take the spotlight on this week's edition of What’s Trending on Streaming.
Hulu:
Handmaids and Mormon wives dominated Hulu this week, but it was the handmaids who really took the spotlight. The Handmaid's Tale topped the chart five days in its penultimate week, having started the week out at #5. The Emmy-winning series had been overshadowed a bit in recent weeks by some of ABC's signature series such as The Rookie and 9-1-1 and the buzzy Hulu miniseries good American Family, but with all of those now wrapped for the season, it's The Handmaid's Tale's time to shine. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives still had quite the impressive week itself, topping the chart the first two days of the week and staying rock solid at #2 for four of the three days that came after that. ABC's gone very quiet this week, with most of their shows now off the air for the season. However, American Idol did air its finale this week, and as such, was one of the highest-charting ABC series, hitting #2, and charting all seven days this week. 9-1-1 hung onto the chart the entire week as well, having started off the week at #2. Also clinging to the charts all week were Grey's Anatomy and The Rookie. Grey's peaked at #3, and The Rookie peaked at #6. The Rookie, of course, aired its season finale a few days before Grey's, so it's no surprise that it was trailing Grey's at the start of the week. It pulled ahead mid-week, though, as it remains a considerable draw to Hulu. Doctor Odyssey was off the list after three days, and may stay off the list forever, seeing as it's not yet been renewed. Will Trent dropped off the list after five days this week, though it'll be back early next year, and will likely remain a solid, if not dominant, presence on Hulu. Shark Tank managed to sneak back onto the list for one day at #15 for Mark Cuban's farewell episode, while 20/20 charted the entire week, peaking at #4. Even with greatly reduced competition, neither Celebrity Wheel of Fortune nor Jeopardy! Masters could crack the list. Daytime soap General Hospital charted six days this week, peaking at #4. Fox had a fairly full lineup, though there were several changes to it. That resulted in Fox having a decent enough week on Hulu. Farmer Wants a Wife is by no means a ratings powerhouse, but it's had a pretty solid Hulu run, and ended its third season with a strong showing, peaking at #3 this week and spending four days on the chart. Alert: Missing Persons Unit also looked pretty good. Aided by less competition, it charted four days this week, peaking at #4. The Cleaning Lady also took advantage of its better situation, posting a season's-best #6 peak on the chart and charting two days this week. Family Guy peaked at #10 on the chart this week, and charted three days in all, while Bob's Burgers had a one-off return to Sundays before it moves to Thursdays next week, charting one day at #12. The Wednesday night summer Gordon Ramsay night returned, this time with a new show at 9. Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service is off to a "serviceable" start, starting at #3 on the chart and dipping to #5 the next day, as it looks to be a similar performer to Next Level Chef. MasterChef was a bit weaker, as it was in the linear ratings, starting at #7 and down to #8 the next day. LEGO Masters returned this week, but didn't make an impact on the chart, while America's Most Wanted, The Simpsons and Krapopolis also failed to chart at all. Hulu original Nine Perfect Strangers returned for a second season, almost four years after season one debuted, and with a huge cast overhaul (the series is a semi-anthology series, with only Nicole Kidman returning from season one). It peaked at #3 in its first week, down to #6 by week's end, a decent, but unexceptional debut that was overshadowed by two stronger Hulu originals. FX's Welcome to Wrexham continued its run, peaking at #9 this week and making three appearances on the chart. Nat Geo series Tucci in Italy peaked at #5 this week, but fell off the chart fast, with only two appearances in all.Disney+:
The week leading up to this Friday's blockbuster release of the live-action Lilo & Stitch remake saw a massive increase in interest in the franchise on Disney+. The original film from 2002 topped the chart for five days of the last week, with a special look at the remake topping the chart one other day. Direct-to-DVD sequel Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch also charted six days of the last week. That particular film has been charting on and off the Disney+ chart for the past several months, while the original film only popped up in the last week. Fellow direct-to-DVD films Stitch! The Movie and Leroy & Stitch also charted for several days. In fact, the only property from the Lilo & Stitch franchise available on Disney+ to not chart at some point in the last week was the 2003 TV series. Everything else made it to the chart, with interest in the franchise strengthening with each day, as all signs point to that coinciding with a massive box office performance this weekend. With the attention all on Lilo & Stitch, there weren't many shows on the chart this week. Andor remained on the chart after ending its run on May 13, charting between fourth and seventh. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives also continued to chart, starting the week at #3 and dropping to the bottom by week's end. Nat Geo travelogue Tucci in Italy charted four days this week, all towards the bottom of the chart. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was the lone #1 entry not tied to Lilo & Stitch. Other films charting multiple days included Kung Fu Panda and its sequel, Star Wars and The Phantom Menace.
Note: Disney+ is the only service not to provide a separate list for TV shows and movies. On this chart, movies are listed in bold.
Peacock:
It didn't even air this week, but Law & Order: SVU was back to another undefeated run at #1 on Peacock, after Poker Face broke that streak for a single day last week. Mariska Hargitay's long-running procedural has long been the biggest draw on Peacock, and that seems destined to continue even while it's on hiatus. Poker Face remained a very solid option, though, at #2 nearly the entire week, only slipping to #3 once. Most of NBC's shows ended the week before, but The Voice had a two-night finale, and charted twice, peaking at #6 after what has been an all-around rough season for the venerable reality veteran. Saturday Night Live also posted an above-average peak, ranking #5 for its finale. Dateline charted two days, peaking at #8. Even though they, like SVU, ended last week, the Chicagos continued to chart all week, with PD remaining the strongest, Fire usually just behind it, and Med staying the weakest of the trio. Suits LA, airing its series finale, missed the chart entirely, as did Grosse Pointe Garden Society, Yes, Chef!, and Transplant. Bravo had just as much of an impact on the chart as NBC this week, with the Valley peaking at #2 and Below Deck Down Under, Summer House, Top Chef and Real Housewives of Atlanta all charting this week. Peacock original Law & Order: Organized Crime charted five days this week. It began the week at #4, but only rose as high as #8 by week's end, when a new episode was released. Days of Our Lives also charted five days and peaked at #4.

Paramount+:
CBS began a full summer of near-radio silence this week, saying farewell to the few shows they had left, none of which were able to top the chart this time around. Criminal Minds remained a powerhouse, leading the way six days of the last week, and ranking #2 on the sole day it was not #1. Criminal Minds is helped a bit by a lack of strong competition - most strong CBS shows are over for the season, and there's only one other high-profile Paramount+ series on the air right now - but looks incredibly impressive nonetheless. MobLand was the only other show to get in its way, but that show had another front-loaded week, dropping each day until slipping off the list entirely on Friday, before rebounding the next two days. FBI aired its season finale this week, and the lack of scripted competition later in the week kept it on the chart for a season's best four days. Survivor also charted four days and, like FBI, peaked at #2. However, Survivor had fewer chart appearances this week than last week. SWAT lingered on the chart for longer than usual after airing its series finale, charting the first two days of the week. While that's the last we'll see of SWAT on CBS, and the last we'll see of many of the show's characters, Shemar Moore's Hondo has cheated death yet again, as Sony prepares for spinoff series SWAT: Exiles. We'll see what network it'll land at, but we may be seeing SWAT returning to the streaming charts sometime in the near future. NCIS and Ghosts haven't aired in several weeks, but remained on the chart for the entire week, and Georgie & Mandy also impressively charted the entire week, its first time ever accomplishing that feat. Tracker and The Neighborhood also made a few appearances on the chart. Paramount+ original FBI True returned for another season this week, premiering at #2 on the chart, down to #10 the next day, and then off the chart after that. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars rose to a #5 peak this week, but again charted for only the one day. SkyMed stuck on the chart the first five days of the week, slipping off after that point. Showtime's The Chi, which had a solid return last week, rose to a #2 peak this week. It's not as strong as previous Showtime entry Yellowjackets, but it's still one of the better performances on the chart for a Showtime series, charting the entire week.Note: As with Peacock, Paramount+'s top 10 chart updates throughout the day. For consistency, all data collection is done daily at 2 PM.
Max:
It comes as no surprise to see The Last Of Us once again atop Max's chart. The series is still the biggest draw on Max as it heads into its finale week. On most occasions, it was Hacks running just behind it, with the acclaimed comedy ranking at #2 on the chart for five days of the last week, and ranking #3 on the chart the two other days. Last Week Tonight also peaked at #2 on the chart this week, charting five days in all. Fellow HBO talk show Real Time with Bill Maher charted two days this week, peaking at #3. Sunday night series The Rehearsal charted the whole week, ranging between #4 and #7 on the chart. HBO's The Righteous Gemstones finally departed the chart this week, racking up two hart appearances this week before falling off. HBO documentary Pee-Wee As Himself, a two-part, nearly four-hour series, entered the chart on Saturday at #4. Max's Conan O'Brien Must Go ended its short second season this week, charting four days and peaking at #3. New Max drama Duster stayed on the chart all week, peaking at #3 and going as low as #8. Several unscripted programs from Discovery's cable networks also charted, including 1000-Lb. Sisters, Toxic, Sister Wives, Polyfamily and Homicide Hunter.Poll of the Week:
