Ratings Analysis: ABC game show 'Press Your Luck' (0.41) got off to a respectable start for its season four premiere, dropping by just five-hundredths when compared to its 2021 launch (0.46). The news was even brighter at 9 as Kelly Ripa-hosted 'Generation Gap' (0.46) grew from 'Luck' and topped the night as a whole. That series premiere may have been successful but docuseries 'The Fatal Flaw' (0.23) fell by 50% from 'Gap' for its debut and barely fended off reruns of 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.22) and 'Bull' (0.21) in the 10PM hour. NBC also had encores of 'Law & Order' (0.23) and 'SVU' (0.28) earlier in the evening. Outside of 'Bull', CBS had sitcom reruns of the 'Young Sheldon' (0.26), 'United States of Al' (0.20), 'Ghosts' (0.23), and 'B Positive' (0.19) variety. It is worth noting that every CBS show being repeated outside of 'Sheldon' and 'Ghosts' has been canceled. Fox's 'MasterChef' repeat (0.21) was even with last week but the 9PM encore of 'Don't Forget the Lyrics!' (0.26) improved by five-hundredths. The CW had meager reruns of 'Walker' (0.05) and 'The Flash' (0.03).
Finals Update: 'Generation Gap' (+0.1) adjusted up, as did reruns of 'Young Sheldon' (+0.1) and 'Don't Forget the Lyrics' (+0.1).
