Saturday TV Ratings 7/2/22: UFC Prelims and Superstar Racing Experience Low, Modest MLB Showing Tops Quiet Night (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's 'UFC Prelims' broadcast (0.19) was relatively weak in the 18-49 demo and could not even crack the 1 million mark in terms of total viewers. The 10PM rerun of 'The Rookie' (0.12) dropped by seven-hundredths from the already meager 'UFC'. 'MLB Regional Coverage' (0.32) shed two-hundredths on Fox but was the night's top telecast. 'Superstar Racing Experience' (0.12) also dipped by two-hundredths on CBS and led into a feeble '48 Hours' encore (0.10). NBC drama 'Transplant' (0.09, -0.11) crashed after having a somewhat decent performance on June 18th (0.20) and was dwarfed by a 'Dateline' repeat (0.20). The CW aired reruns of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.07), 'Would I Lie To You?' (0.06), and 'Masters of Illusion' (0.05/0.05).

Finals Update: 'MLB Regional Coverage' (+0.1) and 'UFC Prelims' (+0.1) adjusted up.
