So You Think You Can Dance: SYTYCD has defied death for quite some time even though the ratings have warranted it. At this point, though, things are just getting embarrassing. Sporting a current average of 0.49, the show is down 20% from last year's already-low average. It's rare for long-running shows to get axed so suddenly, but this one has been on the bubble for years and hasn't made its situation any better this time around. It hit its first 0.4 after Beat Shazam earlier in the season, and continues to go that low even as it now airs at 8. With many other shows in its summer lineup performing a lot better than that, and others performing at that level that are probably cheaper, it becomes even less apparent that Fox ill hand it a renewal. I won't count it out yet, you never should with this show, but it's definitely down. It LEANS CANCELLATION.
Spin The Wheel: As one Fox show drops, another one rises. While it's not really doing that well, Spin The Wheel has been a consistent performer for Fox and the network seems to be behind it with their consistent airing of repeats of the show on Tuesdays. It wouldn't be hard for me to imagine it being canceled (heck, I predicted it for weeks), but as of now, I think its odds of returning are better than 50/50. It now LEANS RENEWAL.
The Outpost and Pandora: Neither of these CW shows are lighting the world on fire in any way. That much is clear from their 0.1 averages. However, I very much doubt that either will be canceled by the network. Even though their Netflix deal is expiring, they're probably still going to renew a lot of their summer slate, and these two seem like the most likely to be back. Somehow, their current ratings of 0.13 are enough to put them in the middle of the CW pack. While they obviously aren't as strong as the Monday realities, they probably aren't going to be the first CW shows to see the ax. They're LIKELY RENEWALS.
