If you thought the Hecks were done, you're dead wrong (maybe). ABC might decide to reboot the long-running family comedy. They've managed to secure the entire main cast from the original series. This comes as a surprise since it's been a long time since The Middle has been off the air. This revival will focus on the characters in a September 2018 setting instead of a May 2018 one. It may be hard to imagine the Hecks in a present-day atmosphere, but ABC has plans to make things work. To keep things relevant, the season premiere may focus on the Hecks debating about the results of the 2016 election. Just so you know, there is no guarantee that this will happen.
