What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max from April 20-April 26

Another week has passed, and that means it's time for another look at the top shows on Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max for the last seven day!

Hulu:

Good American Family is more than just a good performer for Hulu. The miniseries topped their chart four times this week, and never dropped lower than #3 on the chart, further solidifying it as a success story. The Handmaid's Tale, while still strong, had a weaker showing than the previous week, only topping the chart one day. It remained in the top five the whole week, though, making it one of the most consistent performers on the platform. Two ABC shows also topped the chart this week: 9-1-1, on the heels of a shocking episode that saw the show parting ways with a beloved original cast member, was #1 at the start of the week, slowly dropping down the chart as the week went on, as it did not have a new episode this week. It was, however, the only show of the Thursday lineup to chart each day this week (Grey's Anatomy charted six days, Doctor Odyssey - only three). American Idol also performed well again, topping the chart one day and on the chart for the whole week. The Rookie peaked at #2 yet again, and charted six of seven days in the top five, dropping to #7 on its worst day. Will Trent peaked at #4, charting through the week. A Pope Francis special that aired on Tuesday at 10 charted for one day, an improvement on regular time slot occupant Bad Romance. ABC said farewell to the Conners this week, after a final season that spanned only five weeks. Though it was still easily the weakest ABC series on Hulu, it had its best week yet, charting two days and hitting a new peak of #10. 20/20 charted four days, peaking at #6. Shark Tank, America's Funniest Home Videos and Celebrity Jeopardy! were the only ABC shows that failed the chart this week. Fox continued to have most of their shows on the chart, though they still weren't as successful as ABC's entries. Charting the highest this week was Next Level Chef, which managed to chart as high as #2 this week, its best showing of the season, with five appearances in all. Extracted also looked solid as ever, peaking at #5, with five appearances on the chart. America's Most Wanted debuted its latest season, charting one day at #11. The Cleaning Lady remained a poor Hulu performer as well, charting at #9 for a solitary day. Alert improved from last week, peaking at #6 and charting for three days. The Masked Singer peaked at #8 this week, and actually managed to stay on the chart for more than one day this week. The Floor also improved for its finale week, charting three days and peaking at #6 on the chart. Farmer Wants a Wife has surprisingly turned into somewhat of a solid Hulu performer, peaking at #5 and charting four days this week. New Hulu reality series Vanderpump Villa debuted this week, peaking at #7 and remaining on the chart since its debut. Freeform's The Stolen Girl also remained on the chart the entire week, peaking at #5.

Disney+:

It was another strange week on Disney+, with Mufasa again starting and ending the week at #1, spending three days in between off the chart entirely. It's a bizarre trend, but not an unprecedented one, as shows often go from near the top of the Disney+ chart to off entirely, returning soon after. On two of the days when Mufasa wasn't #1, Andor was the streamer's top offering. The Star Wars offshoot returned for a second season, nearly three years after its first season debuted. The season one recap has been charting the last few weeks, as Disney+ promoted the big return, and it's paid off so far, with the show performing well ink the first few days. Time will tell if it remains a power player, but the Emmy-nominated series doesn't need to worry much about how it performs: season two will be its final season regardless. It was a good week for TV in general, with TV making up at least half the entries on the chart for the entire week. Good American Family hasn't left the chart since it debuted, and that remained the case this week, despite nearing the bottom of the chart mid-week. It peaked at #3, soaring back up the list after a new episode dropped. Consistently towards the middle of the chart was Daredevil: Born Again, which has been over for about a week, but isn't charting much differently than it did when new episodes were being actively released. ABC's Pope Francis special has charted for three days and counting, while Easter bumped the Fox-originated Ice Age: The Great Egg-scapade up as high as #2 on the chart, remaining on the chart for several days after the Easter holiday, leaving after five days on the chart this week. Nat Geo docuseries Secrets of the Penguins debuted this week, peaking at #2. Titanic: The Digital Resurrection left the chart on Saturday, after six appearances this week. Several films also remained on the chart, with Shark Tale going as high as #1 on the chart, and Rio 2, The Order and Avengers: Endgame also charting several days.

Note: Disney+ is the only service not to provide a separate list for TV shows and movies. On this chart, movies are listed in bold.

Peacock:

Peacock is still Olivia Benson's world. Law & Order: SVU was rock-solid at #1 all week, yet again. Its fellow Law & Order series joined it on the chart, with Law & Order being boosted by its SVU crossover just enough to keep it on the chart on Sunday. Organized Crime was clearly stronger, charting six days and peaking at #6. While Organized Crime isn't as strong so far as some other Peacock originals, many of which hit #1 early in their runs (even with SVU competition), staying on the chart for nearly the entire week is an impressive enough feat, given how relatively weak Law & Order is on the chart, and how Organized Crime performed last season on Peacock, when it rarely cracked the top ten at all. It was weaker than the Chicagos, though, with that franchise consistently charting within the top five. PD and Med took turns as the strongest Chicago on Peacock, though Med fell down the list to be the weakest of the trio by week's end. As often happens, these Dick Wolf series were the only NBC shows to chart this week. Bravo had an array of series on the chart, with The Valley improving on last week's showing and peaking at #2. Real Housewives spinoffs in Atlanta and Beverly Hills also charted, as did Summer House and Top Chef. NBC-turned-Peacock soap Days of Our Lives charted five days this week, always at #8.

Paramount+:

It was another CBS-heavy week on Paramount+, with six days of the last week being topped by some of their biggest hits. NCIS led the way with two days atop the chart, while fellow linear hits Tracker (which managed 5 appearances in all), Survivor (which charted for two days), Ghosts (which charted through the week) and Fire Country (which charted five times) also spent a day each on top of the chart. MobLand remained strong, and charted the entire week, though it hasn't quite stacked up to Paramount+'s recent Taylor Sheridan shows, and looks to be more on the level of School Spirits or Yellowjackets than Tulsa King or 1923, which is still a respectable mark. Happy Face remained a decent player, peaking at #2 again and marking four chart appearances this week. Several other CBS series popped up on the chart at some point in the week, even though they didn't quite make the top of the chart. The Neighborhood was on the chart for five days, peaking at #3. NCIS: Origins wasn't nearly the performer that its parent show was, but charted one day at #8. FBI charted two days, and peaked at #2. Its canceled spinoff, FBI: Most Wanted, was able to sneak onto the list again this week, at #10. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage had its best week ever, peaking at #2 on the list and charting five days. Elsbeth was back from a week off at #7 on the chart. Matlock, which ended for the season last week, remained on he chart for two days at the top of the week. Failing to chart at all this week were Watson, The Equalizer, Poppa's House, FBI: International and The Amazing Race, an unusually-long list, with this being Watson first time in its run that it's failed to chart. Criminal Minds continued to chart through the week, peaking at #3.

Max:

After weeks of peaceful co-existence between a Max hit and an HBO hit, with the #1 spot switching back and forth between the two of them, that came to an end this week, as The Last of Us was #1 on Max from the start of the week to the end of it, showing no signs of slowing down on the heels of a buzzy new episode. For nearly the full week, the #2 spot on the service was taken by some of HBO and Max's most popular half-hour comedies, with The Righteous Gemstones at #2 for four days of this week (having begun the week as low as #7) and Hacks at #2 for the last two days of the week (having also gone as low as #7 this week). Previous Max titans The White Lotus and The Pitt remained in the mix this week, both staying in the top half of the chart for nearly the entire week, save for The Pitt dropping to #6 on Saturday. Nathan Fielder's experimental comedy/social experiment, The Rehearsal, returned this week on HBO. It wasn't as strong as most HBO series on the chart, but it did impressively manage to remain on the chart ever since its return, despite only peaking at #8 and already being down to #10 on the chart by Thursday. Last Week Tonight didn't air last week, taking Easter off, but still charted twice, while Real Time charted three days, peaking at #3. Several shows from TLC, ID and Food Network also charted, with the 90 Day Fiancé series reliably sticking on the chart for multiple days, along with 1000-Lb. Sisters and Hollywood Demons. Sister Wives, Tournament and Spring Baking Championship were among the one-day entries.
