Thursday TV Ratings 8/29/24: Harris/Walz Interview Strong on CNN, College Football on ESPN Leads the Night, Big Brother Rises [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: CNN's Harris & Walz interview (0.62) impressed in the Adults 18-49 demographic and was within striking distance of CBS's Big Brother (0.64, +0.05). Fox's college football game (0.42) was well below ESPN's (1.55) but placed second on broadcast nonetheless. Over on ABC, Press Your Luck (0.24, -0.01) ticked down, but Lucky 13 (0.16, +0.02) slightly outpaced Tuesday's disastrous showing. Masters of Illusion (0.04, -0.02) dropped on the CW, while World's Funniest Animals (0.05, +0.01) picked up a hundredth. NBC aired repeats of Law & Order (0.16), SVU (0.17), and Organized Crime (0.18). Key: (R) = repeat.
