Amanda: It was not the first time my father was in a rage over his alcoholism. Prior to the death of my
mom, he hit her with alcohol bottles under the influence. I witnessed the entire thing, and traumatized is
not the only word I would describe it.

Jane Doe: What word would it be?
Amanda: Paralyzed, mortified, you name it. I struggle to hold everything back when it comes to my
past.
past.
Jane Doe: Abusive situations are terrifying and traumatic. I got out of an abusive situation a long time
ago. Sometimes there are days where the emotional abuse I got from my ex-husband would linger into
my personal life.

INT. HALLWAY - DREAM SEQUENCE
Amanda (narrating): So I had another dream, yet again, folks. I’m in my childhood home, in my
childhood bedroom. All of a sudden, I hear a disturbance. Oh no, not this s*** again! I need to get
out there. So I left the room. A guy that reminds me of my dad is berating a woman that reminds me
of someone I know. I need to investigate.

Young Amanda: Daddy’s hitting Mommy! Daddy’s hitting Mommy!

Young Amanda: How can this be possible?
Amanda: You’re having dreams in the future.
Young Amanda: No!
Amanda attempts to comfort her past self.
Amanda (narrating): This little girl was me when I was younger. She is petrified. She doesn’t know
what to do, nor does she understand why Daddy is beating up Mommy in a murderous rage.

Young Amanda cries.
Amanda: I know things don’t seem okay right now, they will be.
Amanda then heads to investigate. She notices the horror right in front of her eyes. A man, resembling
her dad in a murderous rage, hitting a woman resembling her mother, leaving cuts and bruises. The
woman also looked eerily familiar.
