1x03 - “Part 3”

INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT
When we last saw Amanda, she was at her last appointment. Her growing suspicions of Jane Doe
are becoming more obvious by the day. We will start this episode with Amanda in bed again, sleeping.

DREAM SEQUENCE - CABIN SCENE

Amanda (narrating): So far, so peaceful. I am having another dream. I’m at a cabin in the woods.
Nothing suspicious has happened yet.

Amanda is drinking coffee at the cabin. The cabin happens to be securely locked, so no intruders
come in. But something is suspicious.

Amanda (continuing on with narration): I was with a few other people. But they mysteriously
disappeared, with their possessions still here at the cabin. Suddenly I noticed the people gathered
in a small room, in a confined space.
Person #1: What the hell are you doing here?
Amanda: I thought you all disappeared!
Person #2: I didn’t know you were crazier than I thought.
Amanda (narrating her thoughts): Person #1 has not showered in days. The stench is absolutely
unbearable. Person #2 is in a quest for power. Kinda reminds me of Jane Doe. But I rest my case.

All of a sudden, the power goes out.

Person #1: Oh s***! What is happening? How am I supposed to take a shower now?
Person #2: You get no shower until the power comes back on, Sarah.
Sarah: Lynn, you shouldn’t control me like this. I shower whenever my hair gets extremely oily.
Since my hair is really long, it’s not often that my hair gets oily.
Lynn: You haven’t even showered in days, what the hell are you talking about?
Amanda: Relax. We have to stay calm.
Lynn & Sarah: Calm? Stay calm? There is no time!
Amanda (narrating her thoughts): The ladies are pushy it seems like. I have never seen snappy
women before. Or even women acting petty. Then, I hear a gunshot. Sarah is shot and killed
instantly. Lynn was speechless.

Amanda then screams in horror as she witnesses the sheer terror befalling Lynn. The dream got
ugly real fast.

Amanda: What just happened?

Lynn does not respond. Then she faints. Amanda screams.

Amanda (narrating): Oh God, I will be next. Sarah just died in front of me, literally shot, and I
have nowhere to go. Lynn is possibly dead too. Where is this intruder coming from? Oh no. I’m
literally in a crime scene. It wasn’t me, police officer! I didn’t shoot anyone! Someone help me!

CUT TO:

INT. BEDROOM - EARLY MORNING
Amanda wakes up, and screams in terror. She hurriedly gets up and changes her clothes.

Amanda: Oh no! I just witnessed a murder!

She frantically exits the bedroom in terror.

CUT TO:

INT. DOWNSTAIRS HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS
Amanda runs, as if she is in the fight of her life. Another dream, another dream. Trauma sets in.
Where is she running to?

CUT TO:

EXT. HOUSE - CONTINUOUS
She rushes out to her car, out of breath, and gets into her car.

Amanda (narrating): Whoa folks, I had another dream. It was a murder scene. Now, I had a
troubled childhood growing up and I witnessed something sinister. So sinister I cannot tell you
the rest. My past is coming back to haunt me, and I need help. I could have broken down. I
could have lost myself. But I need to see her. I need to tell her. But I don’t trust her. What if she is
out to get me? Will I even know?

INT. CAR LOOP - CONTINUOUS
Amanda is recklessly driving to her therapist’s office, at nearly sixty miles an hour. The speed
limit is forty five. Traffic is clear for an early morning. Nobody off to work yet.

CUT TO:

INT. JANE DOE’S OFFICE - FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER
Jane Doe waits near the door, water bottle in hand. All of a sudden, she witnesses a door opening,
and Amanda is outside.

Jane Doe: Amanda? Oh no, what happened this time?
Amanda: I witnessed a murder scene.
Jane Doe: There hasn’t been a murder that took place recently, Amanda.
Amanda: I had another dream.
Jane Doe: Oh no. And it just keeps getting worse and worse. What happened this time?
Amanda: So sinister I cannot tell you the rest. My past is coming back to haunt me, and I need
help. I could have broken down. I could have lost myself. Will I even know?
Jane Doe: Slow down, come in.

Amanda sits down in a chair, and Jane Doe returns to her desk.

Jane Doe: Tell me what happened next, Amanda.
Amanda: I was in a cabin in the woods with two other people. At first I thought they disappeared,
then I saw them confined in a room. One girl forgot to take a shower, while the other one was super
demanding. They were arguing, and all of a sudden, I hear gunshots.
Jane Doe: Gunshots?
Amanda: Gunshots. The girl who forgot to take a shower, Sarah, was instantly lifeless on the floor.
The other girl, Lynn, was speechless. She faints. She falls to the floor. I wondered, what if it happened
to me next? Am I next?
Jane Doe: Amanda, I hope you are not next. You say your past is coming back to haunt you, what
happened?
Amanda: Let’s just say I had a traumatic childhood and I witnessed my alcoholic father shoot and
kill my mother. I never got over that trauma. He’s in prison awaiting the death penalty. My mother
was a therapist.
Jane Doe: Hmmm...
Amanda: What?
Jane Doe: This is unfortunate. I’m sorry you had to go through this, Amanda.
