Over a month after its cancellation by Fox, Lucifer has been revived by streaming giant Netflix. The series was the subject of a huge fan campaign that seems to have paid off. The Tom Ellis-led fantasy procedural faced heavy declines in its third season, down more than 20% for a 0.8 average. This caused its cancellation by Fox, which made numerous notable cancellations this year, including Lucifer. The Netflix pickup is for a ten-episode fourth season, well below the massive 26-episode third season. Rachael Harris, Lauren German, and Lesley-Ann Brandt.
