TV Ratings 5/31/17: Carmichael Show Does Pretty Well, F Word Beats Masterchef (UPDATED)

Wednesday night saw the return of two shows, the series premiere of one, and a whole lotta repeats. As for the repeats, most were at 0.6, with all of the ABC comedy repeats, Criminal Minds, Code Black, and This Is Us pulling 0.6s. Slightly lower was the NCIS: LA repeat on CBS at 0.5, and a good deal lower was a Still Star-Crossed repeat at 0.4 and CW's repeats both at 0.3. NBC had mostly originals, with Little Big Shots leading the night with a 1.2. The Carmichael Show premiered at a 0.9, a relatively strong outing for the series. Its second episode had a 0.8, which is a pretty strong hold from the first episode. Also airing original episodes was Fox, which premiered the new season of MasterChef at 1.0. It lead into the series premiere go The F Word, which was a bit weaker than Beat Shazam but tied Love Connection. Fox's Summer is going pretty well so far, and American Grit is really going to try to mess that up for them when it returns in mid-June.

Finals Update: MasterChef (+0.1) and a Modern Family repeat (+0.1) adjusted up. Little Big Shots (-0.1), an Arrow repeat (0.1), The F Word (0.1), a Legends of Tomorrow repeat (0.1), the second episode of The Carmichael Show (0.1), and a This Is Us repeat all adjusted down.
