Downward Dog- I was very hesitant to move Downward Dog last week after its huge week-to-week drop of 0.3, but I'm not anymore. ABC really has no reason to keep the show on the air, as it will only have 8 episodes after this season. Had it remained at 1.0 or even 0.9, I could see it sticking around. But at this point, it isn't worth it. It's now a LIKELY CANCELLATION.

The Carmichael Show- While the Carmichael Show has never been a hit, or even a very solid show, it's done pretty well in its third season, having a 0.8 average for its first three episodes. I'm not going to claim that that's good, but it's probably enough to get a renewal. It keeps on LEANING RENEWAL.

Still Star-Crossed: After a rough premiere, Still Star-Crossed stayed steady in its second week. Unfortunately for it, there's really no way to make a 0.5 look good, unless you're the CW. It didn't get to air its third episode as scheduled because of the NBA Finals, and that's not a good thing for the show. I expect the show to drop to a 0.4 when it returns. Well, if it does return. This one continues to be a CERTAIN CANCELLATION.

Stay tuned next week and every Tuesday after that for my predictions on each Summer scripted show.
