Tuesday TV Ratings 1/6/26: Will Trent Returns Strongly Down from Previous Premiere but Steady with Finale, The Rookie Also Lower, High Potential and Doc Rise [+ Analysis]

Will Trent (0.34) returned in fine shape on ABC, but this result marked a 32% decline from last year's premiere (0.50). At ten, The Rookie (0.26) dropped by 24% from its year-ago return (0.34). In the midst, High Potential (0.33, +0.05) improved on its midseason finale (0.28). CBS was still in repeat mode with NCIS (0.26), NCIS: Origins (0.17), and NCIS: Sydney (0.14).
