American Ninja Warrior Renewed by NBC

NBC has renewed its hit summer reality show, American Ninja Warrior, for a sixth season. This news comes before tonight's season five finale.

'AGT,' 'American Ninja Warrior' Get Premiere Dates; 'ANW' Moves to Wednesdays (For 2 Weeks) [UPDATED]

*UPDATE (3/11): "American Ninja Warrior" will be on Wednesday for only two weeks (June 1 and June 8). "ANW" will move back to Mondays on June 13. This move was likely made to avoid conflict with the NBA Finals.

NBC has set premiere dates for its two, hit summer reality series, "America's Got Talent" and "American Ninja Warrior." Season 11 of "AGT" will kick off on Tuesday, May 31 at 8PM, while season 8 of "Ninja Warrior" will be shifting to Wednesdays with a premiere on June 1st at 8PM. Season 8 of 'Ninja Warrior' will premiere on Wednesday, June 1 at 8PM and return to its original day and time on Monday, June 13 at 8PM.

 With "American Ninja Warrior" moving to Wednesdays, it is now unknown what NBC will be airing on Mondays this summer. Why did NBC even make this move to begin with? Tell me your thoughts in the comments below!
