FADE IN:
INT. LEAH’S OFFICE - EARLY EVENING
After Psych Med was canceled at a blink of an eye, we now turn our attention to relationship drama. Last
week, Charlie dials the tension up to 11 by giving Jesse a major scolding, joined by Matt and Leah. This
week, Kasey and Leah have a conversation.

Leah: Could you believe that Jesse and I can work together in peace without fighting about our past
relationship?
Kasey: Honestly, no. Although I wish Jesse and I didn’t get together the way things happened at
upfronts with Holly.
Leah: It was bound to happen anyway, girl. You getting together with him was inevitable.
Kasey: Maybe I’m having second thoughts about the pace.
Leah: It’s okay. I’m over him now. Maybe you should go talk to him and straighten things out.
Kasey: I will. Say, why not go meet with Ash in his office?
Leah: Um, I don’t have any reports to give to him.
Kasey: Just go, Leah.

Leah then exits the office.
CUT TO:
INT. BUSINESS HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS
All of a sudden, Leah runs into Ash. There was an awkward moment.

Leah (startled): Ash! I...I...
Ash: Leah?

They face each other.

Ash (with a smile): What a nice surprise. You look beautiful, by the way.
Leah (sheepishly): Well, thank you. I don't know what to say.
Ash: I've done a lot of thinking.
Leah: Well, I need to tell you something.

Ash then kisses Leah. Leah is somewhat speechless.

Leah: Okay. What was that for?
Ash: It's just what I've been meaning to do. You deserve someone who will give you their all. You
deserve someone that will never give up on you.
Leah: What do you mean by never give up?
Ash: What I'm saying is…
Leah: Go on, spit it out!
Ash: Let’s just go to my office.

CUT TO:
INT. NETWORK PRESIDENT’S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS
Leah and Ash walk into the office, and it is set up like a romantic scene from a romantic comedy. Roses
are everywhere from rose petals to actual bouquets of roses.

Ash: Leah, I’m the network president and I know I'm not supposed to fall for an employee. But there is
something more between us.
Leah (chuckles): Ash, we've been in this relationship for about six months. Trying to balance between
work and play is hard.
Ash: I admit, it is pretty hard.
Leah: To be honest, I haven't been the same since Jesse broke up with me. It's been about a year since.
We tried to be friends and it has its moments, even after he broke up with Holly.
Ash: I can imagine that.
Leah: To be honest, I don't know what I'm looking for.
Ash (in reassurance): I'm right here Leah. I'm not going to give up on you. Now, I have a surprise for
you.

Leah is in shock after Ash gets down on one knee.

Ash: To be honest, I don't see myself with anyone else. Leah, will you marry me?
Leah: May I say something crazy? Yes!

They hug and kiss for a brief moment.

Leah (in excitement): Yes, I will marry you! Come on, honey. We got a wedding to plan!
Ash: I agree. Let's get married!

CUT TO:
INT. JESSE’S LIVING ROOM - THIRTY MINUTES LATER
Kasey is in Jesse’s apartment. Jesse then answers the door.

Kasey: Jesse, we need to talk.
Jesse: Come on in.
Kasey: Shall we sit down first?

Jesse and Kasey then sit on the couch.
Jesse: Is there anything wrong, my dear?
Kasey: Well, I’m a little concerned about the pace of our relationship.
Jesse: Kasey, I love you. You know I wouldn’t pressure you into doing something that you weren’t
comfortable with.
Kasey: I love you too.

Kasey then kisses Jesse, then hugs him, holding on for dear life.

Jesse: Whoa. Slow down, partner.
Kasey: Shall I stay the night?
Jesse: If you want.
Kasey: Well.

Kasey then tugs at Jesse’s hand, and proceeds to lead him to the bedroom. We probably shouldn’t
show you what happens next.

CUT TO:
INT. RANDOM BAR - FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER
Matt is sitting at the bar contemplating things. All of a sudden, he sees Holly, all down in the dumps.

Matt: Hey, everything okay?
Holly: No, it’s the same as usual.
Matt: I’m sorry. I’m Matt, by the way.
Holly: Hi Matt. I’m Holly, Jesse’s ex.
Matt: Now, now. You’re more than someone’s ex.

Matt hugs Holly.

Holly: Thanks. I needed that.
Matt: It’s a pleasure. Now, I’m serious. You are more than Jesse’s ex. You are a person. You do not
need to reduce yourself to being an ex.
Holly: Well, thank you.
Matt: You deserve better.
Holly: I don’t know what to say.

We have reached the end of the episode as Matt and Holly hug it out. Stay tuned for next week’s
Network, where Holly gets a little more time to herself to flesh out her character.
