Wednesday TV Ratings 10/30/24: World Series Soars in Final Game, Abbott Elementary and The Golden Bachelorette Hit New Lows, Grotesquerie Finale Low [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: In the fifth and final game of the World Series (4.25, +0.47), the Dodgers defeated the Yankees and brought the Fox network massive ratings. A new 2024 high was ultimately set in both Adults 18-49 ratings and total viewership. On ABC, The Golden Bachelorette (0.26, -0.06), Abbott Elementary (0.26, -0.02), and What Would You Do? (0.12, -0.01) all slipped. Survivor (0.57, -0.05) and The Summit (0.19, -0.05) also dropped on CBS. NBC aired repeats of Chicago Med (0.25), Fire (0.21), and PD (0.17). On the CW, Sullivan's Crossing (0.04, -0.04) lost half of last week's rating, but Inside the NFL (0.04, +0.02) rose. Key: (R) = repeat. 

Wednesday TV Ratings 10/23/24: The Masked Singer and Abbott Elementary Decline, Survivor and The Golden Bachelorette Rise, What Would You Do? Hits New Low [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Though The Golden Bachelorette (0.32, +0.05) was up on ABC, Abbott Elementary (0.28, -0.01) lost a hundredth at 9:30. What Would You Do? (0.13, -0.05) plummeted in the 10 p.m. hour. The Masked Singer (0.34, -0.05) and The Floor (0.32, -0.02) were also down on Fox. Survivor (0.62, +0.06) and The Summit (0.24, +0.01) grew on CBS. Chicago Med (0.43, +0.07) and Chicago Fire (0.39, +0.04) surged on NBC, while Chicago PD (0.35, 0.00) matched its rating from last week. Sullivan's Crossing (0.08, +0.02) rose on the CW, but Inside the NFL (0.02, -0.02) struggled.
