Ratings Analysis: On a rather uneventful Friday night, college football on Fox (0.55) was the highest-rated of the pack on broadcast television. On ABC, 20/20 (0.17) fell behind a repeat of High Potential (0.19), just like The Year did on Thursday. Reruns of Happy's Place (0.21), Lopez vs Lopez (0.15), and Dateline (0.14) made up NBC's schedule. On CBS, The Greatest @Home Videos (0.17) and Grammy Greats (0.15) performed poorly. Inside the NFL (0.05, +0.01) ticked up on the CW. Key: (R) = repeat.

Wednesday TV Ratings 12/18/24: Survivor Jumps to Season High for Finale, SNL Christmas Solid, Jingle Ball Passable [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: CBS's Survivor (0.80, +0.12) jumped to a new season high on finale night, making it the top-rated program of the evening by far. On Fox, The Masked Singer (0.36, -0.04) dropped for its finale, but The Floor (0.35, +0.03) was up for its season closer. The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball (0.28) was a passable performer on ABC but lost to NBC's Saturday Night Live Christmas Special (0.33). Inside the NFL (0.04, +0.01) inched up on the CW but trailed Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer (0.07). Wednesday TV Ratings 12/11/24: A Motown Christmas Modest, Survivor and The Masked Singer Rise, Shrek the Halls Drops [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: On NBC, Frosty the Snowman (0.33) was down by a tenth in its second 2024 airing and led into Shrek the Halls (0.28). Later in the night, A Motown Christmas (0.28) was able to fully retain its Shrek lead-in. CBS's Survivor (0.68, +0.03) was up from last week and led into a repeat of FBI (0.18). Fox's The Masked Singer (0.40, +0.06) soared, but The Floor (0.32, -0.03) slipped. ABC went with game show reruns (0.25/0.21/0.20). Sullivan's Crossing (0.06, 0.00) held steady for its CW finale. Inside the NFL (0.03, 0.00) also matched last week's showing. Key: (R) = repeat. Ratings Analysis: NBC's Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving (0.43) was only a few ticks behind 2023's showing (0.46), but Countdown to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (0.27) had a steeper year-to-year decline. Survivor (0.66, -0.02) dipped on CBS, but The Summit (0.26, +0.03) was up yet again. On ABC, The Untold Story of Mary Poppins (0.26) performed reasonably well. Fox aired repeats of The Masked Singer (0.21) and The Floor (0.20).
