Cable Renew/Cancel: Hallmark is Having Trouble Finding The Way Home

It's been a month since our last Cable Renew/Cancel, and there have been several new entries, including two shows from Hallmark, the return of a sophomore AMC series, and unscripted options on TBS. Monday TV Ratings 9/30/24: Rescue: HI-Surf Drops in Week Two, The Voice Rises, All American: Homecoming Ticks Up for Series Finale [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Things got even worse for Fox's Monday-night dramas in week 2 as both 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.24, -0.03) and Rescue: HI-Surf (0.17, -0.03) dropped to new lows. On NBC, The Voice (0.49, +0.01) inched up, but Brilliant Minds (0.27, -0.02) slipped. ABC's Seahawks/Lions NFL game (3.95) improved on the week-ago Commanders/Bengals game (3.37). On CBS, The Price Is Right At Night (0.26, -0.06) declined markedly. The CW's All American: Homecoming (0.06, +0.02) grew slightly on series finale night. Key: (R) = repeat.

Monday TV Ratings 9/16/24: Halloween Baking Championship Returns with Series Low, Celebrity Family Feud Leads Broadcast, Monday Night Football Easily Leads [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: On ABC, Celebrity Family Feud (0.33/0.29) closed out its season in respectable fashion and was the top-rated program on broadcast. On Fox, a repeat of 9-1-1: Lone Star (0.09) led into a TMZ Investigates special about Matthew Perry (0.12). NBC aired encores of American Ninja Warrior (0.25) and The Wall (0.15). All American: Homecoming (0.03, 0.00) matched last week's rating on the CW. CBS went with reruns of NCIS (0.20) and NCIS: Sydney (0.17/0.15). Monday TV Ratings 9/9/24: American Ninja Warrior, The 1% Club and The Wall End with Series Lows, Name That Tune Rises for Finale, NFL Dominates [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: American Ninja Warrior (0.24, -0.01) and The Wall (0.12, -0.02) both slipped for their NBC finales. On Fox, Name That Tune (0.15, +0.02) ticked up for its finale, but The 1% Club (0.16, -0.02) dipped. ABC's Jets v. 49ers NFL game (2.15) dominated on broadcast. CBS aired repeats of NCIS (0.23) and NCIS: Sydney (0.20/0.19). All American: Homecoming (0.03, -0.02) dropped on the CW, but 61st Street (0.02, 0.00) held steady. Key: (R) = repeat. (F) = finale.
