Sunday TV Ratings 4/4/21: The Equalizer and Bless the Harts Hit Lows on Easter, The Rookie Rises, Zoey’s Playlist Steady (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC took the reins on Easter Sunday as a steady 'American Idol' (0.8) topped the night altogether. 'AFV' (0.5) suffered a two-tenth decline at 7, but 'The Rookie' (0.5) managed to gain a tenth in the 10pm slot. On CBS, '60 Minutes' (0.5) lost a staggering six-tenths when stacked up against last week's 'NCAA'-boosted installment. The downward trajectory continued as the evening progressed, with 'The Equalizer' (0.6) and 'NCIS: New Orleans' (0.4) each shedding two-tenths. In the middle, 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.5) only lost one. NBC had another brutal night as 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.2) inched down behind a repeat of itself (0.2). 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist' (0.2) held even at 9 and led into a 'Good Girls' encore (0.2). Fox had an even worse time than the peacock network as recently-canceled 'Bless the Harts' (0.1) dropped to a new low behind an equally-anemic 'Ice Age' Easter special (0.1). The 'Ice Age' special was down two-tenths from last year's showing (0.3). Nature documentary 'Malika the Lion Queen' (0.2) built a bit from there, with a 0.1 in the 8pm hour and a 0.2 from 9-10. The CW went with repeats of 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.1/0.1) and 'Masters of Illusion' (0.0/1).

Finals Update: 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.6, +0.1), 'American Idol' (0.9, +0.1), 'The Equalizer' (0.7, +0.1), 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.3, +0.1), and 'NCIS: New Orleans' (0.5, +0.1) adjusted up.

Monday TV Ratings 2/22/21: Ellen’s Game of Games Slips for Double Episode, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola and All Rise Slide After Week Off, The Bachelor Also Down (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC's lineup took a sizable hit as 'The Bachelor' (1.2) lost two-tenths and 'The Good Doctor' (0.5) ticked down to brand-new series low. 'The Bachelor' was essentially on-par with its season low from January 11th (1.17). Fresh off their renewals, 'The Neighborhood' (0.8) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.6) shed two-tenths apiece on CBS. Dramas 'All Rise' (0.4) and 'Bull' (0.4) were only a tenth below their previous episodes at 9pm and 10pm. On NBC, a double dose of 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.5/0.6) was a good bit behind last week's episode (0.65). 'The Wall' (0.5) managed to hold steady at 10. Fox's '9-1-1' (1.0) tied its previous installment while '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.8) inched down. 'All American' (0.2) fell by a tenth but 'Black Lightning' (0.1) matched its week-ago outing on the CW.

Finals Update: The Bachelor (+0.1), The Good Doctor (+0.1), Bob Hearts Abishola (+0.1), Ellen's Game of Games (+0.1) and 9-1-1 (+0.1) adjusted up.

Monday TV Ratings 2/15/21: The Good Doctor Down After Weeks Off, 9-1-1 Shows Slip (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Coming off of a three-week break, ABC's 'The Good Doctor' (0.6) ended up losing a tenth and tying its series low. Its 'Bachelor' lead-in (1.4) remained the night's champion, holding steady on a week-to-week basis. Fox suffered some minor slippage as both '9-1-1' (1.0) and '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.8) inched down when compared to their last episodes. NBC was flat with 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.6) and a double-pump of 'The Wall' (0.5/0.5). CBS was back in repeats with comedies 'The Neighborhood' (0.7) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.6) but saw a steep decline with drama encores 'All Rise' (0.3), and 'Bull' (0.3). 'All American' (0.3) held even on the CW while 'Black Lightning' (0.1) dipped from last week's premiere.

Finals Update: Ellen's Game of Games (+0.1), The Wall (+0.1), 9-1-1: Lone Star (+0.1) and the repeat of All Rise (+0.1) adjusted up.

Monday TV Ratings 2/8/21: Bob Hearts Abishola Holds Steady as The Neighborhood Slips, All American and 9-1-1 Rise, Black Lightning Returns Steady (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Amidst some slight dips on the other networks, Fox enjoyed a nice rebound as '9-1-1' (1.1) and '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.9) each picked up a tenth after hitting new lows last week. 'All American' (0.3) also inched up on the CW but remained a tick shy of its stellar January 18th start (0.39). The drama series led into the fourth season premiere of 'Black Lightning' (0.2), the latter was down a tenth from its October 2019 return (0.3) but held even with its March 2020 finale (0.2). ABC's 'The Bachelor' (1.3) remained the night's top program but shed two-tenths on a week-to-week basis, once again leading into a 'Good Doctor' encore (0.4). CBS didn't seem to enjoy much of a Super Bowl bounce as 'The Neighborhood' (0.9) lost a tenth from its previous outing. On the bright side, 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.8), 'All Rise' (0.5), and 'Bull' (0.5) all held even. NBC's 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.5) lost a tenth while 'The Wall' (0.4) lost two. A 'Weakest Link' rerun (0.4) capped off a bleak evening for the peacock network.

Finals Update: The Bachelor (+0.1), The Neighborhood (+0.1), Ellen's Game of Games (+0.1), The Wall (+0.1), 9-1-1 (+0.1) and the repeat of Weakest Link (+0.1) adjusted up.
