Siren Canceled by Freeform After Three Seasons

One of the top-ratings shows on Freeform has officially been sunk. Freeform has axed mermaid drama Siren after three seasons today, despite a 0.11 average that puts it ahead but one of all of their other shows in season averages. Siren premiered on Freeform in March 2018 and ran for 36 episodes over its three seasons. This move comes after renewals of two lower-rated freshman series, Motherland: Fort Salem and Everything's Gonna Be Okay and the cancellation of Party of Five. Siren dropped over 25% from season two to season three and wrapped up its run for good on May 28. It starred Eline Powell as the titular siren, along with Alex Roe, Fola Evans-Akingbola and Rena Owen. You can see the full ratings for the third and final season below.
