TV Ratings 7/30/17: Funderdome Steady Without Feud, Candy Crush and Megyn Kelly Also Steady (UPDATED)

ABC's Funderdome (0.8) was steady with last week despite its Celebrity Family Feud lead-in (0.8) going in repeat-mode. At 10, 100,000 Pyramid (0.7) hit a new low and could only tie a 7pm repeat of AFV (0.7).

CBS's Candy Crush (0.6) got back a precious tenth after last week's nosedive while Big Brother (1.8) remained steady. The originals were surrounded by repeats of 60 Minutes (0.6) and NCIS: Los Angeles (0.4).

NBC's Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly (0.5) was steady with last week leading into repeats (0.5/0.6).

FOX had animated repeats (0.3/0.3/0.5/0.5) leading into American Grit (0.4). The latter remained steady with its usual dismal delivery.

Finals Update: Big Brother (+0.1) and repeats of Celebrity Family Feud (+0.1) and Bob's Burgers (+0.1) adjusted up. Candy Crush received crushing news in the finals as it adjusted down (-0.1) to tie last week's horrific datapoint.

TV Rating 7/23/17: Spartan Falls for Finale, Candy Crush Gets Crushed

It was a rough Sunday night, as many shows dipped to new lows or stayed at previous ones. Spartan was hit the hardest, dropping 50% for its finale. It's not all Spartan's fault though, as it had a triple whammy of having to air on a special night, behind Megyn Kelly, with half of the episode airing out of primetime. Nevertheless, it can't be ignored that the 0.5 for Spartan is lower than the 0.7 from last week's Ninja Warrior repeat. Megyn Kelly continued to be an unbelievable flop with a 0.5 after a 1.2 NASCAR lead-in. Not that it surprises anyone at this point. ABC had their game show lineup, and things didn't get any better for them after last week's lows. It's undeniable that they're underperforming, but pretty much everything else is, as well, so the game shows look a bit better in comparison. CBS had their Summer Saving Grace Big Brother, which was steady at a 1.8. It's an incredible result for the CBS smash hit, and it's far above anything else on last night. That 1.8 from Big Brother makes the rating for lead-out Candy Crush even more disgraceful. Candy Crush dipped another three tenths to a 0.5, and its now operating at less that 50% of its debut rating. Just to remind you, this is just Candy Crush's third episode. The rejection is certainly strong with this one. Over on Fox, American Grit did a 0.4, but at least that isn't the lowest-rated program on Fox. It beat the 7 PM repeat of Bob's Burgers. So that's something, I guess.

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary ratings.

TV Rating 6/25/17: Despicable Me Mediocre, Megyn Kelly Ratings Are Despicable, Funderdome and Pyramid Tick Up (UPDATED)

It was a low night all around, but ABC dominated once again and actually rebounded after last week's drops at 9 and 10 PM. ABC's anchor Celebrity Family Feud was steady at 1.4, but Funderdome and the $100,000 Pyramid both ticked up to a 1.1, up one and two tenths, respectively. That's pretty much where the good news ends, though. Every other network had some really low ratings and not one of them managed to break a 0.8. Despicable Me can describe two things on NBC last night, the movie they ran and the ratings for 7 PM newsmagazine Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly. Sunday Night dropped another tenth, now performing at 50% of its premiere rating. Despicable Me didn't exactly light up the charts, either, but it steadily grew all night long before settling at an average of about 0.65. It's lead-out was a repeat of Little Big Shots: Forever Young at 0.5. On Fox, American Grit got even more pathetic and ticked down to tie its 0.4 premiere rating. It actually rated lower than its Family Guy repeat lead-in, which is a feat on its own, really. CBS had their final all-repeat night before Big Brother comes in to save them from Sunday night obscurity, and things went absolutely horrifically from 8-10, with Madam Secretary repeating at 0.2 and Code Black and NCIS: LA repeats down a tenth each. 60 Minutes was up two tenths, however, which gives CBS some good news, at least.

Finals Update: A repeat of Madam Secretary (+0.1) adjusted up. The Code Black repeat (-0.1) adjusted down.
