Pivoting has been ordered to series by Fox. The pilot centers on three women on Long Island who are faced with the reality that life is short after the death of their childhood best friend. As they try to find happiness, the women make a series of impulsive and ill-advised decisions, which strengthens their bond. Eliza Coupe, Ginnifer Goodwin, Maggie Q and Tommy Dewey are attached to star.

Fox Passes on Untitled The Goonies Drama

The untitled The Gooneis drama from Sarah Watson has been passed on by Fx. It centered on Sarah Cooper, who returns to her hometown to substitute teach after failing to make it in New York. She finds inspiration and hope when she agrees to help students who are pursuing their filmmaking dreams by putting on an ambitious shot-for-shot remake of The Goonies. Ramon Rodriguez was the only cast member attached to the project.

Blood Relative Passed On by Fox

Crime drama Blood Relative has been passed on by Fox. It centers on Louise Kelly, who knows genetic genealogy better than anyone, though she is impossible to deal with. Melissa Leo, Tate Donovan and Tyrone Marshall Brown were attached to star.

Monarch Ordered to Series by Fox

Fox has ordered musical drama Monarch to series. The show is described as a multi-generational musical about America's first family of country music whose reign at the top is put in jeopardy. Heir to the throne Nicky Roman will stop at nothing to defend her family's legacy. A cast has not been set for the series, which did not film a pilot and was instead developed using a new development in which Fox opened a writers room for the series, in order to focus on the show's scripts rather than everything else a pilot would entail. The order is for twelve episodes.

The Cleaning Lady Ordered to Series

Fox has ordered thriller The Cleaning Lady to series. In it, a brilliant doctor comes to America for a medical treatment to save her ailing son. When the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she refuses to be beaten down and marginalized. Instead, she becomes a cleaning lady for the mob and starts playing the game by her own rules. It is set to star Elodie Yung, Ginger Gonzaga, Adan Canto, and Vincent Piazza. The first season will run for  ten episodes.
