Starz announced, back in June, that freshman drama series Vida has been renewed for a second season.

The show averaged a 0.04 in the adults 18-49 demographic and 130,000 viewers. That is pretty low, but for Starz, that was enough to get a second chance. This was an incorrect prediction for the TV Ratings Guide.

Outlander Renewed for Two Seasons by Starz

One of the few hit shows left at Starz is returning for at least two more seasons. Outlander, the Starz hit based on Diana Gabaldon's novel series, has just been renewed for an additional two seasons, extending the show's run to six seasons. The show was previously renewed for a fourth season, and it concluded season three in December 2017. The show premiered in 2014, and has enjoyed decent reviews since then. It has earned Golden Globe nominations, as well as various critics awards. Seasons five and six will consist of 12 episodes each, with Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan starring.

’Ash vs Evil Dead’ Canceled After Three Seasons

Starz has canceled 'Ash vs Evil Dead' after three seasons. The comedy acts as a sequel to the Evil Dead film trilogy and stars Bruce Campbell, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, Jill Marie Jones, and Lucy Lawless. The series premiered on October 31, 2015 and has aired 28 episodes. The penultimate episode of the series will air on April 22, 2018. The series finale will air on April 29th.
