The 100 Prequel Rejected by The CW

The untitled prequel of The 100 is not moving forward. It was set 97 years before the events of the original series. It starts with the end of the world, a nuclear apocalypse that wipes out most of the human population on Earth, and follows a band of survivors on the ground as they learn to cope in a dangerous world while fighting to create a new and better society from the ashes of what came before. Iola Evans, Leo Howard and Adain Bradley appeared in the backdoor pilot, though their cast options had long expired.

Green Arrow & The Canaries Passed on by The CW

 
The Arrow won't be expanding this season. Arrow spinoff Green Arrow & The Canaries has been passed on by The CW. Set in 2040 in Star City, it. centers on Mia Queen, who has everything she could have ever wanted. However, when old acquaintances Laurel and Dinah show up in her life again, things take a shocking turn and her perfect world is upended. Laurel and Dinah are tracking a kidnapping victim with direct ties to Mia and they need her help. Knowing it will change everything, Mia can’t help but be a hero, and she, Laurel and Dinah suit up once again to save the city. Katherine McNamara and Katie Cassidy were set to star in the series, which aired its backdoor pilot during Arrow's final season.

Maverick Pushed to Next Pilot Cycle by The CW

Political drama Maverick has been rolled to next year's pilot cycle. It was set in a present-day America that finds itself under authoritarian rule. The President’s daughter, who was raised to believe her father is moral, has her worldview rocked on her first day at Georgetown. Challenged by her fellow students, and under the watchful eye of Secret Service agents, she’ll have to decide if her loyalties lie with her family or with a growing resistance as she navigates her freshman year. Reina Hardesty, Mark Moses, Zainne Saleh, Nandy Martin, Christopher Meyer and Pete Ploszek were attached to star in the series.
