True Lies Ordered to Series by CBS

CBS has handed a series order to another new drama pilot. True Lies, a reboot of the 1994 James Cameron film starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, is produced by 20th Television, CBS's only series this season not from their in-house studio. It will center on an unfulfilled suburban housewife who discovers that her husband is an international spy and is thrust into a life of danger and adventure after being recruited to work alongside him, all while they try to get the spark back in their marriage. Ginger Gonzaga and Steve Howey will take on Curtis and Schwarzenegger's roles in the series adaptation, starring alongside Omar Miller, Erica Hernandez, Annabella Didion, Mike O'Gorman and Lucas Jaye.

CBS Passes on Wilde Things

CBS has passed on comedy Wilde Things. It came from the creators of Will & Grace and centered on Frankie Wolfe, a businesswoman with no personal life. When Frankie's sister abandons her foster child Quincy, Frankie is forced to decided whether to take him in or cast him back out. Julie Bowen, Ken Marino, Stephanie Koenig and Juliet Donenfeld were set to star.

Smallwood Ordered to Series by CBS

CBS has ordered comedy pilot Smallwood to series. Based on the real-life story of bowler Tom Smallwood, it follows a man who, after being laid off from his job at General Motors, decides to provide for his family by becoming a pro bowler and pursing a lifelong dream. Pete Holmes, Chi McBride and Katie Lowes will star in the series.

CBS Orders Good Sam

Medical drama Good Sam has been ordered to series by CBS. It centers on a talented surgeon who embraces her leadership role after her boss falls into a coma. Once he awakens and wants to resume performing surgery, it's up to her to supervise this pompous man who never admired her talents, who happens to be her father. Sophia Bush and Jason Isaacs will star in the series.
