Monday TV Ratings 5/26/25: American Music Awards Rise After Three-Year Hiatus, Yes, Chef! Pitiful at Special Time, NBA Playoffs and LEGO Masters Rise [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: After a three-year hiatus, the American Music Awards (0.75) returned with a massive rating, one more than a tenth above its last broadcast from 2022 (0.63). That was enough for CBS to beat out the other broadcast networks on an otherwise slow Monday night. But despite the increased competition, LEGO Masters (0.23, +0.04) was up from last week's premiere on Fox. At nine, America's Most Wanted (0.12, -0.04) dropped for its finale. NBC's Yes, Chef! (0.13, -0.06) also took a hit for a special 8 p.m. showing. ABC aired repeats of Celebrity Family Feud (0.21/0.16/0.16). Monday TV Ratings 5/19/25: LEGO Masters Returns with a New Low, The Voice Jumps without Competition from American Idol, Yes, Chef! Hits Series High [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: LEGO Masters (0.19) had a soft landing on Fox, but America's Most Wanted (0.16) bested last Monday's installment. On NBC, The Voice (0.36, +0.15) clearly benefited from the absence of Idol, and Yes, Chef! (0.19, +0.07) was also up markedly. Bad Romance (0.19, +0.11) climbed higher on ABC, but Paradise (0.12/0.09) was down from last week (0.13). On CBS, The Price Is Right At Night (0.33, +0.10) gained a full tenth. Wednesday TV Ratings 5/14/25: Sullivan’s Crossing Premieres Down, Survivor Climbs to Season High, Chicago Fire Jumps as Chicago Med Slides [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: In its CW return, Sullivan's Crossing (0.04) fell behind its December 2024 finale (0.06) and didn't seem to help Sherlock & Daughter (0.03, -0.02). CBS's Survivor (0.83, +0.21) soared, while The Amazing Race (0.29, -0.03) declined. On ABC, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.26, +0.02) was up slightly, while Jeopardy! Masters (0.19, 0.00) tied its week-ago performance. NBC's Chicago Med (0.32, -0.07) dropped, but Chicago Fire (0.41, +0.08) and Chicago PD (0.35, +0.01) climbed higher. Ratings Analysis: The Voice (0.21, -0.03) went even lower on NBC, with the former juggernaut losing to CBS's Price Is Right At Night (0.23). Yes, Chef! (0.12, -0.04) also lost a few ticks. American Idol (0.43, +0.04) and Paradise (0.13, +0.03) beat their week-ago installments on ABC. America's Most Wanted: Missing Persons (0.12, -0.02) was down for its Fox finale, but the original America's Most Wanted (0.14, +0.04) gained momentum. Ratings Analysis: The Neighborhood (0.29/0.30) was down a touch from last week (0.31) on CBS, and NCIS (0.31, -0.03) also declined for its season finale. On NBC, The Voice (0.24, -0.02) could not stop the bleeding, but Yes, Chef! (0.16, +0.02) looked a little better than it did on premiere night. American Idol (0.39, -0.06) fell behind last Monday's installment, while Paradise held steady at 0.10.
