CBS's 20th TV-produced comedy Life In Pieces has been renewed for a third season. Considering the ratings (a cool 1.1 average, down about 10%), this much of a suprise, though there were reports that the comedy was sitting on the bubble. Despite this, the family comedy survived. Life In Pieces features a large ensemble cast that includes Oscar-winner Dianne Wiest, Emmy-winner James Brolin, Colin Hanks, and Zoe Lister-Jones.
