Below are the Week 17 renew/cancel predictions for the Fox network in the 2023-24 television season. The numbers listed in the table mark the Nielsen rating low, average, and high for each respective program in the Adults 18-49 demographic. The "Y2Y (year-to-year) Change" column denotes how much the series has risen or fallen when compared to its average from the previous season. Because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, there is a limited amount of scripted programming this winter. As a result, reality television will continue to be included in this column.

We Are Family: Fox gave We Are Family one of their largest NFL lead-ins of the season and boosted it all the way to a 1.17 rating on Sunday, January 14th. Though its retention was abysmal, this data point alone was enough to catapult it to the #4 position in the chart. And while a lot of shows don't take away any long-term benefit from airing after a football game, it appears that the Anthony Anderson game show actually did. The series returned to its Wednesday time slot with a 0.29 rating, up by eight-hundredths from the 0.21 it managed the week before. This climb took place even as I Can See Your Voice (0.21) declined an hour before it. As a result of the rise here, We Are Family remains Likely to be Renewed. Fox clearly wants the series to thrive, especially since they gave it such a massive leg-up, and it seems like their efforts have ultimately paid off. Expect this Family to stick around for at least another generation.

The Floor: After being in the Likely Renewal category for two weeks, The Floor has now been upgraded to a Certain Renewal. The series started out with a solid 0.41 for its premiere, inched up to a 0.44 in week two, and jumped all the way to a 0.51 rating for its latest episode. This type of growth is unprecedented for any program, let alone a game show that is largely seen as "winter filler" to Nielsen rating followers. This series has now tied the Adults 18-49 ratings average of The Masked Singer and is only a few ticks away from We Are Family despite not having a massive post-NFL showing to inflate its overall average. The Floor is doing far better than what the scripted programming on this network usually does, so a second season renewal should be a given. Though this series probably won't keep growing at such a rapid rate each week, it would still be one of the network's strongest offerings if it stabilized at this level. It's not often that a genuine hit like this lands on Fox's doorstep, so they would be foolish to let go of this one.
