’Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Renewed For 11th Season By HBO

The long-running comedy series will be returning for more.

Credit: HBO
After closing out its 10th season in March, acclaimed sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm has been renewed by HBO for an eleventh season. The series features Seinfeld creator Larry David playing a fictional version of himself and has been on the air since October 15, 2000. In total, Curb has produced 100 episodes during its nearly 20-year run. Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman, and J.B. Smoove make up the main cast and star alongside Larry David. In response to HBO's decision, David replied with a satirical take. The comedian stated “Believe me, I’m as upset about this as you are. One day I can only hope that HBO will come to their senses and grant me the cancellation I so richly deserve.” The 10-episode tenth season averaged a 0.17 rating in the A18-49 demographic but rose to a season high for its finale. Despite that, it was still down a steep 50% from the season prior. Below are the full Nielsen ratings for season 10.

Monday TV Ratings 6/29/20: Cannonball Preview Has Decent Retention from The Wall, The Titan Games Drops

Preliminary Analysis: On an ordinary summer Monday, The Titan Games' (0.7) lost a bit of steam on NBC, down a tenth from its previous broadcast. That was still enough for it to tie lead-out 'The Wall' (0.7) for the highest-rated program of the night. The peacock network closed out with a special preview of USA Network's 'Cannonball' (0.6). It matched what 'Dateline' did the week prior and will formally debut on USA on Thursday, July 9th.

ABC got another 0.4 out of a glorified 'Bachelor' clip show. CBS had encores of 'The Neighborhood' (0.5), 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.4), 'All Rise' (0.3), and 'Bull' (0.4). Fox settled with more repeats of the '9-1-1' duo (0.3/0.4). The CW was a bit behind the others with an original 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.2) and 'Penn and Teller: Fool Us' (0.2). In the middle of the two was a 'Whose Line' encore (0.2).

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary ratings.

Jason Lee and Lulu Wilson were signed on to star in the show, which was created by Fresh Off the Boat's Nahnatchka Khan.

ABC Passes on The Brides

Drama The Brides has been passed on by ABC. It was a vampire soap about empowered, immortal women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy, and their non-traditional family. The revival centered on the children of the characters from the original show, who are now 30-something themselves. Original stars Ken Olin, Patricia Wettig, Timothy Busfield and Mel Harris were set to return alongside newcomers Odette Annable, Auden Thornton, Patrick Fugit, Kendrick Sampson and Chris Wood. Original creators Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz were also set to return.

Sunday TV Ratings 6/28/20: BET Awards Low on CBS, Celebrity Family Feud Hits Season Low After Week Off (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Airing on CBS, The BET Awards (0.4) found its way onto broadcast for the first time to little fanfare. While substantially below 2019's 0.95 rating, this showing was only a simulcast and it likely performed much better on its traditional network. The broadcast was preceded by an original '60 Minutes' (0.7), the news-magazine staple rose a tenth and tied for the top program of the night.

On ABC, 'Celebrity Family Feud' (0.7), 'Press Your Luck' (0.6), and 'Match Game' (0.5) all fell a tenth from their last episodes but still comfortably outperformed CBS head-on. Earlier in the night, the alphabet network filled the 7pm hour with a sturdy 'AFV' repeat (0.5). NBC had a stable 'Hollywood Game Night' (0.2) and another helping of 'Titan Games' + 'AGT' repeats (0.2/0.4).

Despite being embroiled in voice-actor controversy, repeats of 'Simpsons' (0.2) and 'Family Guy' (0.3) did not see any significant bump on Fox. But the 'Bob's Burgers' encore (0.3) inched up from last week. The 'Last Man Standing' (0.1), 'Duncanville' (0.1), and 'Bless the Harts' (0.2) repeats remained in anemic territory. The CW got similar results out of 'Stargirl' (0.1) and 'Penn & Teller' (0.1) encores.

Finals Update: Celebrity Family Feud (+0.1) adjusted up.

Saturday TV Ratings 6/27/20: SNL Vintage Down Behind Global Goal, Shark Tank Repeat Leads (UPDATED)

It was a mildly stronger Saturday night than the previous one, with ABC seeing big gains in particular. The Alphabet saw two 0.1s last week. This week, they started off the night with a 0.3 for a repeat of an AFV special. They then saw a huge week-to-week gain at 9 PM as Shark Tank drew a 0.4, winning the night and rising a whopping three tenths from the Last Dance encore that aired in the slot last week (0.1). They capped off their night with a modest 0.2 for a Good Doctor encore.

NBC had a down night, with a special entitled "Global Goal" unable to even come close to the ratings for last week's Dateline encore. With a lower lead-in, a Natalie Portman-hosted SNL Vintage took a hit to 0.2.

CBS was stuck at 0.2 for their first two hours of the night with repeats of Friday stalwarts MacGyver and Magnum PI. At 10, a 48 Hours encore drew a 0.3, winning the slot and holding steady with last week.

For the first time in over a month, Fox allowed for a Saturday night without 0.1s, as both 24 Hours to Hell and Back and LEGO Masters had 0.2s for their repeats.

Finals Update: The repeat of 24 Hours to Hell and Back (+0.1) adjusted up.

Put Them In Season 1 Episode 4: Put Tyler In

COACH DONOVAN is pacing in the bullpen, appearing nervous.

MIKE
What’s wrong coach?

COACH DONOVAN
Oh nothing other than the fact that we’re going to lose this game despite you all pitching amazing. And with a new general manager, who knows what the expectations are.

XAVIER
For you or for us?

COACH DONOVAN
For both of us.

JAMES
Me too?

COACH DONOVAN
I’ll rephrase: for all of us. I really don’t know what’s going on. Anyways, let’s just focus on this game. Tyler, you’re pitching.

MIKE
Turn around.

COACH DONOVAN turns around. TYLER is already on the mound pitching.

COACH DONOVAN
Wait, how did that happen?!

MIKE
The game was about to begin and he figured he was pitching by process of elimination.

COACH DONOVAN
He wouldn’t be wrong.

XAVIER
Also it’s the fourth inning, you’ve been pacing back and forth an awful lot.

JAMES
Yeah, are you sure you’re okay coach?

COACH DONOVAN
I never said I was okay.

JAMES
I don’t think they’re going to fire you if that’s what you’re worried about.

COACH DONOVAN
It’s one hundred percent what I’m worried about. Think about it: none of you have any stamina and it’s become widely known that I wasn’t too thrilled about that kid starting at first.

XAVIER
You mean Carter?

COACH DONOVAN
Yeah, whatever.

JAMES
When he comes back, we’ll go back to being a regular bullpen. They all know we pitch well.

MIKE
And Carter’s back next week, so we won’t have to worry about starting games anymore.

COACH DONOVAN
He’s back next week?

MIKE
That’s what I just said.

COACH DONOVAN
When?

XAVIER
Over the weekend. I think Friday?

COACH DONOVAN
Anyone been paying attention to the schedule? Who are we playing that weekend.

MIKE, JAMES, and XAVIER all look around at one another nervously. TYLER returns from the mound, as the inning has just finished.

TYLER
What’s going on everyone?

COACH DONOVAN
These guys aren’t telling me who we’re playing next weekend. What’s his face is supposed to return.

TYLER
Carter?

JAMES
Want to tell him what he wants to know Tyler?

TYLER
Uh...that’s okay, you can say it.

COACH DONOVAN
Just someone tell me.

XAVIER
Fine. We’re playing the Indianapolis Primitives.

COACH DONOVAN
Uh oh.

JAMES
We’ll be going into the game in the late innings. Hopefully it’s at least somewhat close.

COACH DONOVAN
That’s the one without any bullpen, right?

MIKE
Technically they have a bullpen, but it’s pretty much the starters pitching the whole time. If we win those games it’ll be with our offense. The best we can hope is to keep it close.

COACH DONOVAN
That sounds like a problem we can deal with later. For now, it’s that Tyler has pitched for four innings. He falls apart in the next one.

TYLER walks out to the mound for the fifth inning. He immediately gives up a hit. RAY walks up to the mound to talk.

RAY
I am so sorry. Just keep throwing it to me until they take you out of the game.

RAY walks back to the plate. TYLER gives up two more hits, scoring a run. He is taken out of the game and walks back to the bullpen.

TYLER
I don’t get it. Why are they doing this to us?

MIKE
Luckily, we’re getting Carter back.

COACH DONOVAN
That’s one thing to celebrate. I doubted the kid at first, but it turns out he’s what’s keeping this team together.

XAVIER
And you know what makes absolutely no sense? They’re not even making the rest of us pitch in the later innings when one of us starts anymore.

TYLER
It really is one strange strategy.

COACH DONOVAN
We’ll get through this. Since none of you are going into the game, I say we leave. You’ll do better when you’re back in your regular positions.

MIKE
I know this sounds mean, but I really hope the Primitives put in some of their relievers next weekend. Really it’s our only chance, and it’s very entertaining.

COACH DONOVAN
We all do. Get your rest, we might be in for a tight match.

Finally Finale: One More Reunion

SETTING: The home of FRAN, BRIAN, JOSH, and ANDREW. Everyone in the family is present for the third family reunion.

Friday TV Ratings 6/26/20: Daytime Emmys Abysmal, Shark Tank Repeat and 20/20 Tie Smackdown for the Win (UPDATED)

Preliminary Anaylsis: The socially-distant 47th Daytime Emmy Awards (0.3) completely failed to gain any traction on CBS, going a good bit below the drama encores the network normally airs on Friday nights. It led into a 10pm repeat of 'Blue Bloods' (0.2) that went a tenth or two below its usual delivery. CBS's efforts were put to shame by NBC's repeat trio of 'World of Dance' (0.3), 'The Wall' (0.4), and 'Dateline' (0.4). Elsewhere, ABC's 'Shark Tank' & '20/20' repeat duo (0.5/0.5) matched a steady 'WWE Smackdown' (0.5) on Fox for the top spot of the night. The CW remained noncompetitive with 0.1s across the board for an original 'Masters of Illusion' (0.1) and a slew of repeat showings (0.1/0.1/0.1).

Finals Update: The repeat of The Wall (-0.1) adjusted down.

Bidding Farewell to TVRGO’s Finally Franchise: A Retrospective

In March 2019, TVRGO premiered Finally Together. Its first season was a ten-episode story following an extended family that was meeting in person for the first time in years. It was a concept I had for a couple years at that point; in fact, originally the idea was to have a different family in every episode. Instead, I took one family and made three spinoffs about them.

I’ll always have nostalgia for the first season of Finally Together, which is the show that started the franchise. It was a unique take, in that there were so many characters that they were introduced gradually. It actually wasn’t until the end of the fourth episode when everyone in the family arrive at the place of the reunion. Those first few  episodes were meant to show a stark contrast among the family members.

One of my favorite episodes in the entire franchise was the finale of the first season. While I purposefully put in hints that the finale would see them all staying together, I had never planned on that actually being the way it ended. Instead, the family went their separate ways, but everyone displayed character growth. It was by no means a sad ending, but rather one that opened the possibility to explore small groups of characters on their own.

The first spinoff created was Finally Apart. The main character on Finally Apart, Catherine, was one of my favorite characters to write. I saw many storylines in her adult life essentially starting over. Still, I wanted to find a way to get the whole extended family back together; the finale of Finally Apart opened the door for that. It was scheduled in late December for ten consecutive days, almost as if it was taking place in real time. It provided more storylines and more laughs, and led the way to another spinoff, Finally Back Home.

Finally Back Home is a spinoff where I took a few of my favorite characters and brought them into the classic parents-move-in-with-the-kids plot. There are certainly twists along the way, though, straying from the typical formula. It saw the characters going through odd jobs and an adoption. While the situation seemed awkward at first, it turned out to be for the best.

The third and final spinoff, Finally Growing Up, focused on three third-generation members of the family. It ended up having a lot of tie-ins with Finally Apart, which also led to the decision to make the second season of Finally Apart less than the typical ten episodes. In fact, in a sense, Finally Apart and Finally Growing Up were oftentimes part of the very same episode. This is the one that relates closest to television; the kids are finding innovative ways to not only make ends meet, but also have fun along the way. The show took place in a single living room; after all, it was written and posted when everyone in the United States was under stay-at-home orders.

In short, thank you to everyone who read Finally Together, Finally Apart, Finally Back Home, and/or Finally Growing Up. It is truly appreciated. It was fun for me to write, and hopefully fun for you to read as well.

To conclude, here is a poll. Be sure to read Finally Finale, premiering tonight at 8pm Eastern time on The TV Ratings Guide!

Thursday TV Ratings 6/25/20: Broke Steady At Low for Series Finale, Don’t and To Tell The Truth Rise (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: After a disheartening week two decline, ABC's 'Don't' (0.7) solidified its status as a strong performer by rising a tenth and matching its steady 'Holey Moley' lead-in (0.7). That positive momentum helped 'To Tell the Truth' (0.6) rise a tenth as well at 10.

Over on CBS, the series finale of Pauley Perrette sitcom 'Broke' (0.4) left a sour final impression before leaving the airwaves. The comedy ended a tenth below last week's installment and posted a new low. 'Broke' was surrounded by repeats of 'Young Sheldon' (0.6), 'The Unicorn' (0.4), 'Mom' (0.5), and 'SWAT' (0.3). 'Council of Dads' (0.4) gained a tenth on NBC but 'Blindspot' (0.3) held even, beaten out by a 10pm 'SVU' (0.4) repeat in the process. Fox lost a tenth apiece with 'Celebrity Watch Party' (0.3) and 'Labor of Love' (0.2) while the CW's lineup of 'Burden of Truth' (0.1) and 'In the Dark' (0.1) was stable.

Finals Update: Broke (+0.1) and Celebrity Watch Party (+0.1) adjusted up. The repeats of SVU (-0.1) and Mom (-0.1) adjusted down.

NBC Renew/Cancel 2019-20 Wrap Up: A Look at the Hits and Misses

NBC has finally made their final renewal decision of the 2019-20 season, with the cancellation of Council of Dads coming earlier today. That means it's time for my 2019-20 season Renew/Cancel wrap-up. It was a long season, with final decisions arriving nearly two months later than usual, but it's finally over. Keep reading to see what my record for the season is, and read my thoughts on the season that was. Below is my full chart of predictions for the season, with every show placed exactly where I last left them before their fates were decided.

Summer Renew/Cancel Week 7: Holy Moly! Holey Moley Is Doing Well

It's week seven of the Summer Renew/Cancel, and one show is one the move. Keep reading to see what show that is, plus analysis for another show and, as always, the polls of the week!

Council of Dads Canceled by NBC

NBC has canceled Council of Dads, their newest drama, after a single season. A family drama in the vein of This Is Us, it's been a weak performer for NBC in the few episodes that have aired. Its 0.39 average makes it the #5 new show on NBC ahead of only Sunnyside and Indebted, which have already been canceled. It premieres to a low 0.3 on its regular night despite a huge Parks & Rec special airing earlier in the night. NBC never seemed to see much of a future for the show, scheduling it in late April with many episodes of it airing in the summer. Sarah Wayne Callies, Clive Standen, J. August Richards, Michele Weaver and Michael O'Neill lead the cast of the series. This was a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

You can find the ratings for Council of Dads here.

Wednesday TV Ratings 6/24/20: The 100, Agents of SHIELD and Game On Drop to Lows, Ultimate Tag Leads Abysmal Night (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: On an incredibly quiet summer evening, CBS's 'Game On!' (0.4) lost two-tenths and fell to a new series low. Considering it was previously posting ratings in the 0.5-0.7 range, this is definitely a discouraging result for the freshman game show. The back-half of the night was populated by 'SEAL Team' (0.3) and 'SWAT' (0.3) encores. ABC opted not to air a Disney film, instead airing a rebroadcast of 'Taking the Stage' (0.4). It was on par with last week's 'Toy Story 3' but six-tenths below the first time it aired (1/12/17). 'Agents of SHIELD' (0.3) held even after the special, garnering its 5th-straight 0.3. NBC's 'One Chicago' repeats (0.4/0.4/0.4) were roughly steady with last week's encores. Fox was also even with an original 'Ultimate Tag' (0.4) that matched its 'MasterChef' (0.4) repeat lead-in. The CW was down a tenth with 'The 100' (0.1) but steady with 'Bulletproof' (0.1).

Finals Update: Ultimate Tag (+0.1) adjusted up. Agents of SHIELD (-0.1) adjusted down.

What In The World Season 1 Episode 6: Return of the Green Sky

EXT. PIZZA PALACE - NIGHT
Daniel, Joel, Bailey, Tyler, and Greg stand outside the destroyed Pizza Palace. The sky is green. Thunder rings out across the sky.
GREG
It fucking happened again.
JOEL
No shit dude!
GREG
The sky turned green again but this time with... green lightning. That didn't happen before.
DANIEL
Yes, it did. The first time the sky turned green.
GREG
What?
DANIEL
When this all began, when I was outside taking out the trash, I saw those bolts come out from the sky and hit people. As soon as they were hit, they just disappeared.
BAILEY
It’s true, I saw it.
TYLER
Why didn’t you tell us before?
DANIEL
I was going to, I promise. I told Joel and then I was going to tell you guys but then... shit happened.
The group stands in silence.
JOEL
Speaking of shit, we still got a problem. A group of hot, crazy ladies wants our supplies and they are willing to kill us for them.
BAILEY
They’re not that crazy. Also, you didn’t have to say hot.
JOEL
No, it was completely necessary. Also, what are you still doing here? Last time I checked, you were one of them.
BAILEY
That was before my so-called friends were willing to shoot me.
JOEL
Well, I don’t trust you. For all we know, you could be a spy who will probably kill us in our sleep.
BAILEY
I don’t trust you either. You put a gun to my head.
JOEL
Of course, I did. I was trying to get us out of there. You should be thankful that my hands don’t shake like Greg’s.
GREG
Excuse me?
JOEL
I’m pretty sure you made my nose worse. I can’t smell anything.
Greg chuckles.
GREG
If anything I made an improvement to that ugly mug.
Joel tackles him to the ground.
TYLER
Guys stop it.
JOEL & GREG
Shut up Tyler!
TYLER
Fuck you guys! I’m so sick of y’all treating me like shit!
JOEL
Well, then next time choose a better movie!
TYLER
That documentary got 94% on Rotten Tomatoes!
Joel, Tyler, and Greg lunge at each other and wrestle on the ground.
DANIEL
Guys! Stop it!
Daniel kneels down and tries to pick the three apart. Bailey looks up at the sky. In the distance, the clouds begin forming a sort of vortex. They glow bright green. The thunder grows louder.
BAILEY
Guys!
The guys are still wrestling.
BAILEY
Guys!
From the center of the green sky vortex, a beam of green energy strikes the ground. The ground shakes. The guys stop wrestling and look up at the sky. The ground where the green beam has hit begins to crack and shatter. The cracking and shattering grows and moves towards the group.
DANIEL
Run!
The group runs back towards the apartment. The shattering ground follows them. The surrounding buildings crumble around them.
A small crevice opens in front of them. The group stops.
JOEL
Now what?
TYLER
It’s getting closer!
The group looks behind them. The shattering ground approaches near.
DANIEL
We’re going to have to jump.
Daniel takes a few steps back and runs. At the edge of the crevice, he jumps. He lands on the other side. Joel, Tyler, and Greg follow suit. Bailey runs and jumps. She lands on the other side but the ground beneath her crumbles and she falls backward. Daniel grabs her arm and pulls her forward. Daniel falls back on the ground with Bailey on top of him. The two stare at each other. There is a slight hesitation. Bailey gets up and is quickly followed by Daniel.
The green beam disperses and the sky returns to normal. The ruins have become more destroyed. The group gazes upon the newly destroyed landscape.
INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT
Daniel, Bailey, Joel, Tyler, and Greg enter the apartment. Joel tosses his gun on the table. He, Tyler, and Greg sit on the couch. Daniel and Bailey stand awkwardly next to each other.
GREG
What... the actual fuck... was that?
The group says nothing.
DANIEL
I- I don’t know. But the sky is normal again. That’s... that’s a good sign. Now, I think we should all just... relax and get some sleep.
GREG
So I guess we’re just gonna ignore the fact that the apartment has a huge hole in it and that a sorority cult with an arsenal knows where we live.
DANIEL
I’ll take the first watch. As for the hole... I think it adds a nice aesthetic and the breeze at night isn’t bad either. Bailey, you can sleep in my bedroom.
BAILEY
Are you sure?
DANIEL
Yeah. The mattress is memory foam, it’ll be more comfortable than sleeping out here on the couch.
BAILEY
Thanks.
Daniel and Bailey smile at each other.
JOEL
Uhhhh, hold up. Who said she was staying with us? She could be a spy.
DANIEL
All in favor of letting Bailey stay.
Daniel, Tyler, and Greg raise their hands.
JOEL
Really guys. Daniel I get, but you two?
TYLER
She’s not like the others. She was the only one who was nice to me while I was being kept captive.
GREG
I think it’s nice to have a girl in the group. Keeps things diverse.
JOEL
Greg this isn’t Hollywood. You don’t have to try so hard to be woke.
DANIEL
She stays.
JOEL
Fine.
TYLER
So what do we do now?
DANIEL
You guys get some rest, we’ll figure it out in the morning.
Bailey enters Daniel’s room. Joel lays down on the couch.
GREG
Wake me up in 4 hours. I'll take the second watch shift.
Tyler and Greg roll out sleeping bags. They lay down to sleep. Daniel walks over to the hole in the apartment. He looks out among the landscape and then looks up at the sky as the sun sets over the horizon.
END.

Tuesday TV Ratings 6/23/20: World of Dance and The Genetic Detective Slip, AGT and Stargirl Steady (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: NBC's 'America's Got Talent' (1.3) once more won the night, matching the same rating it has posted since its second episode this season. 'World of Dance' (0.8) lost a tenth at 10 but still topped every non-AGT program. ABC's 'The Genetic Detective' (0.3) finally fell a notch after four-straight 0.4s. The drama series led out of 'Conners' (0.4/0.3), 'Black-ish' (0.3), and 'Mixed-ish' (0.3) encores. CBS was a tick above the alphabet network with 'NCIS' (0.5), 'FBI' (0.4), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.4) repeats. Fox matched their efforts with a duo of Gordon Ramsey repeats (0.4/0.4). The CW held steady with 'Stargirl' (0.2) but there was little interest in a Louie Anderson comedy special (0.1) that aired after it.

Finals Update: Repeats of Blackish (-0.1), Mixedish (-0.1) and FBI: Most Wanted (-0.1) adjusted down.

INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY - DAY

PREVIOUSLY ON THE BOOK OF TERRI…

Terri and Abigail face each other.

ABIGAIL

(solemnly)

This is awful. I never thought something like this could happen.

TERRI

I haven’t spoken with her in a while honestly.

ABIGAIL

And what’s scary is that Natasha has a bright future ahead of her and she chooses this road.

From there, Terri picks up a Bible close by and opens it.

She tears up.

TERRI

Lord, help me.

She puts the Bible down.

She then gets up.

Abigail raises her eyebrows.

ABIGAIL

Terri!

TERRI

What is it that I can do when she won’t speak to me?

ABIGAIL

Listen to me, okay?

Terri then turns to look at Abigail.

ABIGAIL (CONT'D)

None of this is your fault. We couldn’t have done anything to cause Natasha’s rock bottom.

Terri and Abigail return to their respective seats.

BACK TO PRESENT EPISODE.

INT. CAR - DAY

With Abigail in the driver’s seat and Terri in the passenger’s seat, they attempt to drive back to school.

TERRI

If only I had the chance to stop this before it got worse, then I would.

ABIGAIL

She still would have collapsed. At this point, we all need to stay together during all this.

TERRI

Yeah, you’re right.

Terri sighs.

EXT. HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT - TEN MINUTES LATER

The car motions towards the parking lot.

Once there, the car comes to a slow stop inside a parking space.

The doors open.

Abigail and Terri exit the car.

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

Once Terri and Abigail enter the hallway, they are greeted by guess who, Janice.

Janice crosses her arms.

JANICE

There you are. What are you two doing skipping class? What reason do you have for this?

Abigail and Terri look at each other in confusion.

Then Terri looks up at Janice.

TERRI

Mrs. Parker, I can explain.

Janice sighs.

ABIGAIL

We tried to stop Natasha from exiting the school. She overdosed on ecstasy pills today. I have them right here.

JANICE

Hand them over.

Abigail hands the pills over.

JANICE (CONT'D)

We have zero tolerance for drug use. That’s a suspension offense.

Suddenly, Katie enters the scene.

KATIE

Mom, wait.

On the next The Book of Terri, the explanation.
