Tuesday TV Ratings 1/30/24: Quantum Leap Sinks to New Low in New Slot, La Brea and Night Court Also Hit Lows, The Floor Rises (UPDATED w/Analysis)


Ratings Analysis: NBC's Quantum Leap (0.18, -0.07) crashed to a new series low after being off the air for 1½ months, while its La Brea lead-in (0.18, -0.02) set a new season low at 9 p.m. Night Court (0.28, -0.05) posted a new series low at 8, but Extended Family (0.23, 0.00) finally stopped its slide at 8:30. Celebrity Name That Tune (0.32, +0.04) and The Floor (0.49, +0.08) surged on Fox, but Tune could only tie ABC's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune repeat (0.32) in the key demo. The alphabet network also aired reruns of Will Trent (0.17) and The Rookie (0.12), but they were no match for CBS's encores of FBI (0.36), FBI: International (0.27), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.29). Inside the NFL (0.06, +0.02) and Whose Line (0.08, +0.03) climbed higher on the CW. 

Finals Update: Repeats of FBI (+0.1) and Will Trent (+0.1) adjusted up.
