Friday TV Ratings 1/26/24: US Figure Skating Championships Rise Year-to-Year, WWE SmackDown Also Up, Shark Tank Slips (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: The 2024 US Figure Skating Championships (0.23) grew slightly in the Adults 18-49 demographic when compared to 2023's showing (0.20), but it only managed to provide NBC with a distant third-place finish in the 8 p.m. time slot. ABC's Shark Tank (0.43, -0.05) slipped a bit, but 20/20 (0.42, +0.06) picked up the slack in a big way for an episode that featured an interview with Gypsy Rose. WWE Smackdown (0.71, +0.09) nearly gained a full tenth on Fox and was Friday's top broadcast yet again. CBS re-ran S.W.A.T. (0.10), Fire Country (0.12), and Blue Bloods (0.16), and each rerun built on the previous one. Masters of Illusion (0.05, 0.00) held flat on the CW, but Penn & Teller (0.06, -0.01) and World's Funniest Animals (0.04, -0.01) dipped.

Finals Update: WWE SmackDown (+0.1) and the repeat of Blue Bloods (+0.1) adjusted up.
