Sunday TV Ratings 2/4/24: Grammys Jump to Highest Ratings Since 2020, 60 Minutes a Distant Second (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: The Grammy Awards soared to a 4.05 rating in the Adults 18-49 demographic and crossed the 17-million mark in total viewership. This is far above 2023's ceremony (2.88 rating/12.55 million viewers) and serves as the most-watched telecast since 2020. Earlier in the night, CBS aired an original 60 Minutes (0.57, -0.17) that was down from last week but still above everything on the other networks. ABC had some NFL help in the earlier parts of the night, so reruns of America's Funniest Home Videos (0.53/0.39) performed far better than usual, but the boost was mostly gone by the time encores of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.24/0.20) showed up. There was no such football help on NBC, so repeats of Fantasy League (0.11) and Dateline (0.15) underwhelmed. Fox went even lower than that with encores of We Are Family (0.09), Next Level Chef (0.09), and The Floor (0.09). The CW's broadcast of 2001 film Ocean's Eleven (0.09) tied Fox's reruns.

Finals Update: The 66th Annual Grammy Awards (+0.8) adjusted up. 60 Minutes (-0.5) adjusted down.
