CBS will scale down to just three comedies next season, as they've opted to order only one of their comedy pilots to series.
Eternally Yours, which comes from the showrunners of Ghosts, has been ordered to series after a lengthy development process. A similarly supernatural-themed comedy, it will focus on a vampire couple living in Seattle whose romance has become dull after hundreds of years together, until their daughter's human boyfriend enters their lives and causes them to reconsider their looks on love. Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards lead the cast, along with Helen J. Shen, Parker Young, Rose Abdoo, Jaren Lewison, Tristan Michael Brown and Shylo Molina. The series is also set to film on the same location that Ghosts films in Montreal.
The Tillbrooks, formerly known as Regency, will not move forward. Rhys Darby and Kate Walsh led the cast of the pilot, focusing on an upper-middle class family in 19th Century England.
