Friday TV Ratings 12/29/23: WWE SmackDown Clip Show Leads Weak Night, The Wall, 20/20 and Dateline Encores Tie for Second (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: On the last Friday of 2023, nothing was able to even post a 0.3. A WWE Smackdown clip show (0.28) came the closest to clearing the 0.30 threshold and led Fox to a win, though the network's lead was not as pronounced as it usually is on this day of the week. ABC was close behind with a rerun of Shark Tank (0.26) and a 20/20 original (0.25) but ultimately failed to beat Fox. NBC aired repeats of The Wall (0.24) and Dateline (0.23). CBS's Blue Bloods encore (0.24) was on-par with the peacock network's offerings, but they dropped significantly from there with a rerun of TV movie Must Love Christmas (0.15). The CW re-ran Penn & Teller: Fool Us (0.07) and Masters of Illusion: Christmas Magic 2022 (0.06).

Finals Update: The repeat of Shark Tank (+0.1) adjusted up.
