Housewife has been a consistent performer for ABC throughout its run and has been a solid Friday starter for the network. Starring Katy Mixon, the show was originally picked up for fifteen episodes for its fourth season as it moved to its new Friday slot. It received six more episodes today, bringing that order to 21 and its run overall to 91 episodes. Diedrich Mader, Meg Donnelly, Ali Wong and Julia Butters also star.
Bless This Mess has been a less strong performer for the network, frequently posting so-so retention from The Conners. However, ABC has decided to keep the Nebraska-set sitcom paired with The Conners for the remainder of the Conners' sophomore run. Mess will receive six more episodes, giving it 19 episodes, the same as Conners. Currently averaging a 0.77, the show is ABC's #4 ranking comedy, after being their #9 comedy just last season. Lake Bell, Dax Shepard, Lennon Parham, David Koechner, Ed Begley Jr and Pam Grier star in the series.
