The Irrational Canceled by NBC

A third season of The Irrational always seemed irrational. The police procedural series has been canceled after two seasons. It was one of NBC's lowest-rated series of the season, with only Grosse Pointe Garden Society rating lower. Its 0.17 average also made it one of the lowest-rated series on all of broadcast TV. The show struggled in the ratings throughout its run, but did enough to secure a renewal in the strike-riddled 2023-24 season, when NBC had just two new dramas (the other being Found, still awaiting news on its own potential third season). It returned in decent form, but quickly sunk, dropping as low as 0.10 over its second season. The Irrational produced twenty-nine episodes over its two-season run. Jesse L. Martin, Travina Springer, Maahra Hill, Arash DeMaxi and Molly Kunz starred in the series. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
