NBC has decided to move one of their recent drama series, Grosse Pointe Garden Society, from Sundays at 10pm to Friday nights at 8pm, starting April 4th. The move is made three episodes into the freshman series' run.
The move isn't surprising as Grosse Pointe has been struggling in linear ratings, ranking last in both total viewers and adults 18-49. Despite very low linear ratings, the series premiere episode stands at a 6.6 million viewers and a 1.21 rating. That's, respectively, three and seven times more than its n Live + Same Day performance.
The upcoming two episodes (Episode 5 and 6) will be the last to air in its current Sundays at 10pm timeslot. The remaining seven episodes of its first season run will air on Fridays at 8pm, taking over the time slot of already renewed Happy's Place, who wraps its first season on March 21st.
