What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max from June 1-June 7

This week on What's Trending, a massive shakeup gives the Peacock chart a whole-new look. Plus, old powerhouses continue to dominate Paramount+ and Max, as new top performers emerge on Hulu.

Hulu:

In a bit of a surprise, a new show emerged as the top performer on Hulu this week: ABC daytime soap General Hospital. Though the long-running soap is a near-constant presence on the chart each week, it's been some time since we've seen it climb to #1 on the chart, and it did so four times this week. It charted the entire week as well, a shakeup from the norm, when it would usually slip off the chart over the weekend. Another atypical chart-topper that we got this week was 20/20. Though the newsmagazine is a solid Hulu performer, it rarely makes it way to #1 on the chart but it did so twice this week, as it also spent the entire week in the top ten. ABC had little else to offer this week, though Jeopardy! Masters had a season's best performance for its finale, charting at #9 for one day. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune was the only other show on the network this week, and it didn't chart at all. The Rookie was the last-remaining ABC series from the regular season to hold out on the chart, though it slipped off after four appearances this week. ABC News shows Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight both returned to the chart this week, and while they were towards the bottom of the chart, it was still emblematic of just how weak the chart has become, and so quickly. Fox took advantage of the weakened charts, and were able to put nearly all of their shows on the chart this week. Their best performer was Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, which spent two days at #2 this week, and never left the top ten. It has continued to perform better than MasterChef, which charted six days this week - only three of them in the top ten. The Cleaning Lady had its highest peak of the season, and Fox celebrated by canceling the show this week. Of course, it only rose that much higher than its typical performance because all of the shows that usually ranked ahead of it already ended their seasons, so it's unlikely that its Hulu viewership actually increased much, if at all, this week. Still, with four appearances on the chart this week, it definitely looked a bit better on its way out, and it did reach a higher peak than most other Fox shows this week. The Quiz with Balls returned this week and surprisingly charted as high as #5, though it was off the chart completely the next day. Lead-in LEGO Masters made its first appearance on the chart this season, at #13. The Thursday night animated block might've taken a big hit in the ratings this week, but it looked better one Hulu, with Family Guy peaking at #3 - its best performance of the season (discounting those Hulu-exclusive holiday episodes). Like The Cleaning Lady, that feat is mostly the result of decreased competition, though with seven appearances on the chart this week, it easily looked the best of Fox's animated block. Bob's Burgers also charted the entire week, though it was always a few steps behind Family Guy, peaking at #6. The Great North managed to break onto the list at #15 on Saturday, leaving Grimsburg as the only Fox series this week that failed to chart. FX's Adults is still in the middle of its season on linear TV, but was dropped on Hulu as a binge release, so it slipped as the week went on, starting at #4 and ending the week at #11. Welcome to Wrexham had a big jump this week, peaking at #4 (its previous high was #8 last week), charting four days in all. Hulu original Nine Perfect strangers continues to be a fairly tepid performer, often unable to out-rate an ABC soap and Fox cooking shows, but it did make it to #1 one the chart one day this week, the first time it's managed that. The Handmaid's Tale began to slip down the chart by the middle of the week, after three days at #2 this week, dipping to #8 at its worst point. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had a similar trajectory, though it pulled ahead of The Handmaid's Tale by the end of the week.

Disney+:

It was another all-time bad week for TV programs on Disney+, as only one regular TV program charted this week: kids show Me & Winnie the Pooh, which made it onto the chart for a single day at #10. A Phineas & Ferb sing-along made the chart at #5 at the end of the week, but the series itself - which was revived this week after a ten-year hiatus - didn't chart for its first full day on Disney+. The rest of the chart was all movies. After falling to second place at the end of last week, the original Lilo & Stitch was back at #1 for most of this week, pulling ahead of Captain America: Brave New World a few days into the week. Other films in the Lilo & Stitch franchise also continued to chart, with Stitch! The Movie and Leroy & Stitch charting the entire week and Stitch Has a Glitch - once the most best-charting film from the franchise on Disney+ - charting two days. Other films charting multiple days this week included Alvin the Chipmunks and its "Squeakuel," The Devil Wears Prada, Rogue One, Grown Ups and its sequel, and the 1998 version of The Parent Trap.

Peacock:

After weeks of stagnation, change finally came to Peacock. Four different series topped their chart this week, though by the middle of the week, it became clear that a new power player had arrived. Love Island USA has been #1 on Peacock since its premiere, and that it'll likely continue to rule that top spot, considering it has a new episode out pretty much daily. The series exploded in popularity in recent years, going from a modest performer that CBS let go after a few seasons to a viral social media hit a few seasons into its Peacock run. Reality shows have been a major draw for Peacock this week, with Bravo shows majorly benefitting from the big shakeup on the chart. Real Housewives of Atlanta topped the chart for the first time this season, while freshman series Love Hotel, chart staples Summer House and The Valley, the returning Below Deck, and the just-premiered Next Gen NYC all spending multiple days on the chart. NBC scripted was the big loser of the shift in the chart. Law & Order: SVU spent one last day at the top of the chart before it began to descend down the chart, now nearly a month out from its season finale. It was still the only NBC series to chart the entire week. The Chicago trio slipped off the chart this week, after making their final appearances at the beginning of the week. Chicago Med charted one day this week, while Fire charted twice and PD was the most successful, charting three days. Summer import Transplant finally made its way to the chart, charting five days this week, and peaking at #3. Also charting was America's Got Talent, which landed at #7 for one day after failing to appear last week. Dateline NBC also charted for one day, at #9. American Ninja Warrior, Destination X and Yes, Chef! all missed the chart, meaning about half of NBC's currently-airing series failed to chart this week. Also failing to chart this week was Days of Our Lives. Fellow Peacock original Poker Face topped the chart for the second time this week, and spent the entire week within the top five. Law & Order: Organized Crime charted the entire week, peaking at #4, dropping as low as #9.

Paramount+:

The Paramount+ looked virtually no different this week than it did last week. Criminal Minds was still completely dominant, leading the chart race six days this week. MobLand was still #1 for a single day in its finale week, spending nearly the entire week int he top five, dropping to #6 on Friday. CBS favorites NCIS, Ghosts, Survivor and The Neighborhood all charted the entire week, though they were briefly joined by Tracker and Georgie & Mandy, which managed to make it onto the chart for one and two days, respectively. Blue Bloods had a strong showing this week, with six chart appearances. Last week foreshadowed this, as the show returned to the chart for one day. Everybody Loves Raymond also made its return to the chart, spending two days on the chart this week. SkyMed made likely its last appearance on the chart, as it last charted on Sunday and the Canadian medical series was not renewed for a fourth season upon the unveiling of Canadian network CBC's 2025-26 schedule, leaving its future uncertain. RuPaul's Drag Race All Starts charted two days this week again, at #5 one day and #9 the next - just like last week. Showtime veteran The Chi remained on the chart all week, rising to #2 on the chart on Friday.

Max:

Last week, The Last of Us dropped from the #1 spot on Max's chart for the first time since its season two premiere. This week, it was back at #1 for most of the week, spending five days in the top spot. The lack of a tentpole HBO replacing the apocalyptic drama on Sunday nights certainly helped withhold onto that top spot, and there won't be another scripted series on HBO Sunday nights again until The Gilded Age returns on June 22, so it will be interesting to see how much longer it can keep hitting #1. Its strongest competition this week was Sex and the City revival/offshoot And Just Like That..., which topped the chart two days this week, only dropping as low as #4 on the chart. The comedy series is arguably the most high-profile series currently airing under the Max/HBO banner, so it's far from a surprise to see it topping the charts. Also charting well this week was Last Week Tonight, which peaked at #2, its best showing in weeks. Despite a higher peak than we've been seeing for recent episodes, it only charted three days this week, a generally below-average performance. Real Time with Bill Maher peaked at #4 on the chart this week, and also managed to chart three days, though that's par for the course for that series. HBO debuted a new docuseries on Sunday nights, serving as a short bridge program until their next scripted premiere. The Mortician performed well in its debut week, remaining on the chart since its premiere and charting between third and eighth on the top ten. Two-part Paul Reubens documentary Pee-Wee As Himself stuck on the chart for another week, ranging from fourth to eighth on the top ten, continuing a very respectable performance. Acclaimed Max comedy Hacks ended last week, but also stuck on the chart through the whole week. It peaked at #3 at the start of the week, though it spent most of the week in the 5th-7th range. Max's Duster had its worst week so far, slipping off the chart for a day for the first time in its run, though it peaked at #3 this week, tying its highest peak on the chart from previous weeks. We had a very rare sighting of a CW series on the chart this week, as their late-spring drama Sherlock & Daughter was added to Max, and charted pretty well. It started out at #10 on the chart, rising to #4 the next day and then slipping a bit to #5 the day after that. Several unscripted series also charted this week, including TLC's 90 Day Fiancé, 90 Day: Hunt for Love and 1000-lb Sisters and ID's Sherri Papini: Caught in the Lie.
