It’s the end of the beginning of Sheldon: CBS has announced that Young Sheldon, the spin-off/prequel to their smash hit Big Bang Theory, will end after its upcoming seventh season. The season, shortened by dual WGA and SAG strikes, will consist of fourteen episodes, though fans can at least be comforted in knowing that that is one of the highest episode counts of any broadcast series this season. The series has been one of the top-rated across all of broadcast TV through its run, and stars Iain Armitage, Lance Barber, Annie Potts and Zoe Perry.
