SEAL Team Ending After Seven Seasons

After seven seasons, the CBS-turned-Paramount+ military drama SEAL Team is being honorably discharged. The series will end its run after its upcoming seventh season, which is set to debut on Paramount+ next year. David Boreanaz stars in the series, which originally aired for four seasons on CBS before mediocre ratings saw the series shifted to Paramount+, the streaming service owned by CBS' parent company. The series recently made its return to CBS to fill a time slot left vacant due to the WGA and SAG strikes, drawing low ratings (to its credit, the episodes had already aired on CBS years prior). Those ratings are unlikely to have contributed to the end of the series, as Paramount+ has been canceling and ending series consistently in recent months, having axed series such as iCarly, Joe Pickett and Rabbit Hole. Neil Brown Jr, AJ Buckley and Toni Trucks starred in the series alongside Boreanaz.
