Monday TV Ratings 5/24/21: All Rise Drops For Series Finale, The Voice and 9-1-1 Rise, Black Lightning Ticks Up (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: Fox's '9-1-1' (1.0) rose a tenth for its season finale as the 'Lone Star' finale (0.8) held even at 9. On ABC, 'The Good Doctor' (0.6) was flat despite having poor lead-in support from 2010 animated film 'Tangled' (0.4). The series finale of 'All Rise' (0.4) actually shed a tenth on CBS, with the legal drama's last episode surrounded by repeats of 'The Neighborhood' (0.4), 'Abishola' (0.4), and 'Bull' (0.3). 'The Voice' (0.7) got back a tenth on NBC, but 'Debris' (0.3) couldn't rise for its finale. The 'Black Lightning' series finale (0.2) inched up on the CW, tying its 'All American' lead-in (0.2). 

Finals Update: The '9-1-1' finale (1.1, +0.1), the '9-1-1: Lone Star' finale (0.9, +0.1), and 'All American' (0.3, +0.1) adjusted up.

Monday TV Ratings 5/10/21: 9-1-1: Lone Star Ties Low as 9-1-1 Hits a New One, The Voice and CBS Comedies Also Slip, The Good Doctor Steady (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Fox took a noticeable hit as '9-1-1' (0.8) lost two-tenths and fell to a fresh, new low. '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.7) fared a bit better, only shedding a tenth and tying its low-point. On NBC, 'The Voice' (0.6) slid down to its lowest rating ever, but 'Debris' (0.4) actually managed to cling to its week-ago rating. 'The Neighborhood' (0.6) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.5) each lost a tenth on CBS, but 'All Rise' (0.4) and 'Bull' (0.5) held steady. ABC's broadcast of 2016 film 'Finding Dory' (0.4) was a tenth behind week-ago 'Incredibles 2' (0.49). 'The Good Doctor' (0.5) built from 'Dory' at 10. Airing behind an 'All American' rerun (0.1), 'Black Lightning' (0.1) matched its last episode.

Monday TV Ratings 5/3/21: Incredibles 2 Decent on ABC, The Neighborhood and 9-1-1 Lone Star Rise (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: Fox's '9-1-1' (0.9) lost a tenth but remained the highest-rated offering of the evening. Spinoff companion '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.8) gained a tenth despite the mothership's decline. NBC didn't budge at all as both 'The Voice' (0.8) and 'Debris' (0.4) held even. CBS comedies 'The Neighborhood' (0.7) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.6) picked up a tenth while dramas 'All Rise' (0.4) and 'Bull' (0.5) were flat. ABC brought back its 'Wonderful World of Disney' movie night series, opting to broadcast the 2018 sequel 'Incredibles 2' (0.5). The superhero cartoon posted a solid result and led into a 10:30pm encore of 'Home Economics' (0.3). Leading out of an 'All American' rerun (0.1), The CW's 'Black Lightning' (0.1) matched last week's performance

Monday TV Ratings 4/12/21: American Idol Beats The Voice, Bob Hearts Abishola and The Neighborhood Down After Break (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: ABC's 'American Idol' (0.7) rose a tenth in the 8pm slot, matching a declining edition of 'The Voice' (0.7) on NBC. The peacock network still had ABC beat in the 10pm slot, as a steady 'Debris' (0.4) outpaced the alphabet network's encore of the 'Rebel' pilot (0.3). CBS's entire lineup was back from a month-long break, with 'The Neighborhood' (0.6) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.5) shedding one-tenth apiece. Amidst the comedy slippage, dramas 'All Rise' (0.4) and 'Bull' (0.4) were flat. On Fox, the 'America's Most Wanted' finale (0.3) ticked down, even as its '9-1-1' encore lead-in (0.4) gained a tenth. The CW's 'All American' (0.2) dropped by a tenth, but 'Black Lightning' (0.1) didn't budge.

Monday TV Ratings 3/15/21: America’s Most Wanted Premieres Low, The Bachelor Rises for Finale, The Neighborhood and Black Lightning Slip (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: ABC's 'The Bachelor' (1.4) rose two-tenths for its finale, coming within striking distance of its season high (1.47). Despite that, the reality powerhouse was a full point below its year-ago closer (2.4). The alphabet network remained strong in the 10pm hour as the 'After the Final Rose' special (1.3) more than doubled the average 'Good Doctor' installment. On NBC, 'The Voice' (1.1) picked up a tenth, but 'Debris' (0.4) wasn't able to rise in week 3. CBS endured some minor slippage as 'The Neighborhood' (0.7) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.6) lost one-tenth apiece. 'All Rise' (0.4) and 'Bull' (0.4) held even from there. Over on Fox, the premiere of 'America's Most Wanted' (0.3) began in awful territory, losing a tenth from the '9-1-1' repeat (0.4) that came an hour earlier. The CW had a premiere of its own in the form of 'Bulletproof' (0.1). The drama posted the same rating it had garnered for every episode in the summer. 'Black Lightning' (0.1) inched down at 9.
