What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and HBO Max from October 26-November 1

It's been a very spooky week on streaming, with several timely entires to help celebrate the Halloween season, as well as the returns and finales of some of streaming's most popular current series. Keep reading to see how shows like IT: Welcome to Derry, Chad Powers, Only Murders in the Building, and Mayor of Kingstown performed as they returned or ended their runs.

Hulu:

No show topped Hulu's chart more than The Kardashians this week, with the reality show ranking #1 on Hulu three days. Three scripted shows also reached #1 this week, and Grey's Anatomy was there only one to do it twice - at both the beginning and end of the week. Fellow ABC series High Potential topped the chart one day, and so did Only Murders in the Building, which had its finale this week. All four chart-toppers spent the entire week in the top fifteen. Other ABC series on the chart included Dancing with the Stars, which peaked at #3 and remained on the chart the entire week despite having started the week at #15. Shifting Gears improved slightly from last week. While still charting only one day, it peaked a bit higher at #11. Abbott Elementary charted the whole week this week, and peaked at #5. The Golden Bachelor was down to #8 for its lone appearance this week. 9-1-1: Nashville didn't reach the highs it did at the start of the season, but it did have its first week in which it charted every day. It peaked at #3. 9-1-1 out-performed Nashville for much of the week, and peaked at #2 this week. 20/20 charted five days, peaking at #7. General Hospital also charted five days this week, and peak at #5.Celebrity Wheel of Fortune was ABC's only series to miss the chart entirely this week. Aiding ABC's series in having above-average showings this week was the lack of content rom Fox. Fox took most of the last week off from airing their original programming, thanks to the World Series. Bob's Burgers was the only show fro the Sunday block to chart, doing so for two days and peaking at #9. Hell's Kitchen remained ahead of Special Forces, peaking at #8 and #11 respectively. The Simpsons, Universal Basic Guys, and Krapopolis all failed to chart at all. Hulu comedy Chad Powers finished its run this week, charting the entire week and peaking at #2. Reasonable Doubt also aired a new episode. It also charted the entire week, though it peaked at #3.

Disney+:

Disney+ looked a bit more like Halloween+ this week. Nearly every entry on their top 10 this week was tied to Halloween. Hocus Pocus has long been a major Halloween favorite, and is oft-repeated on Disney's Freeform network, and it remains the most popular Halloween offering on Disney+. It topped the charts six days of this week, only being beaten by the Nightmare Before Christmas. That was one of just two appearances for Nightmare on the chart this week, which isn't an abnormal performance for the film. Throughout the month of October, Nightmare Before Christmas has charted very sparsely, always charting high on the days in which it does chart. All other films in the top ten were Halloween treats, most of them being films we've seen on the chart all month - in addition to the aforementioned chart-toppers, there was Hocus Pocus 2, the Halloweentown films, the first two Hotel Transylvania films, and both theatrical versions of the Haunted Mansion. They were joined by 2005 Disney Channel film Twitches, which made its first appearance of the 2025 season and spent only one day on the chart. Perhaps the most surprising entry was Trick or Treat, a classic Disney Halloween short from 1952 featuring Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. It charted four days this week, peaking at #5. Few shows charted this week at all, with Chad Powers being the only live-action show on the chart (it spent just a day on the chart) and Disney anime series Twisted-Wonderland charting two days.

Peacock:

It was another big week for Law & Order: SVU, which was back to being #1 on Peacock for the entire week. This week also saw an uptick for Law & Order, which charted five days and peaked at #5. That's a lower peak than last week, but it had more longevity on the chart, having charted only three days last week. There was more shakeup in the Wolf world this week, as Chicago Fire actually managed to pull ahead of Chicago PD a few times this week, though PD was still ahead of Fire for five days this week. PD peaked at #2 this week, while Fire peaked at #3, with their peaks coming on different days. Chicago Med remained the weakest Chicago. While it charted the entire week, it spent only one of those days in the top five, while PD and Fire never left the top five. The Voice charted two days this week and peaked at #4 - a decline from last week. It was the only non-Dick Wolf series on NBC to chart this week. Brilliant Minds and On Brand with Jimmy Fallon were both entirely MIA. That's not new for On Brand, but it's the first time Brilliant Minds has missed out on the chart this season, as it continues its downward trend on streaming. Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy charted all week, but wasn't stable whatsoever. It peaked at #2 on Monday and was down fro there for the most part, dropping as low as #9. Each show Bravo's Real Housewives franchise - Potomac, Orange County, Salt Lake City and Wife Swap - charted several days this week, as did fellow Bravo series Below Deck Mediterranean.

Paramount+:

Paramount+ is back in its Taylor Sheridan era. After a drought of Sheridan programming, Mayor of Kingstown has returned to bring them up to two ongoing Sheridan programs, joining Tulsa King. Tulsa King is about a month into its run, and was the better-performing of the two series. It  topped the chart twice this week, and ranged somewhere between #1 and #3 for the entirety of the week. Mayor of Kingstown, while off to a solid start to its fourth season, peaked at #3 this week and slipped as low as #7 on the chart. South Park remained the most dominant show on Paramount+ with five days at #1, but it did show a bit of vulnerability to that title by slipping as low as #4 on Monday. While still strong, it's clearly not an unstoppable force. Tracker was the only CBS show to top Tracker at any point. this week, doing so as it topped Tracker on Monday and peaked at #2. It charted the entire week this week, an improvement from last week. The Neighborhood had a rough week, charting just one day at #8 - the worst it has ever performed during a week in which a new episode was released. FBI charted three days this week, up from last wee, and peaked at #4. NCIS remained on the chart all week, peaking at #2 and dipping as low as #8. Survivor charted for a single day at #4. Georgie & Mandy charted for the first time this season at #10 on Friday. Ghosts continued to perform the best of the Thursday lineup, peaking at #2 and being one of three CBS series to chart the entire week. Matlock declined again this week, charting just two days this time and peaking at #6. Elsbeth was steady with last week, charting one day at #8. It was a good week for Sheriff Country, which charted more frequently this week than in its opening week. It spent three days on the chart in all, and peaked at #4. Fire Country pulled ahead of it on Saturday, however, peaking at #3. Fire Country also charted four days in all. Boston Blue charted two days this week and remains the weakest of the Friday trio with a #5 peak, though all three are looking strong on Paramount+ so far. Watson joined 60 Minutes, The Road, DMV, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney and The Amazing Race this week as non-charting CBS entries. It's the first time in Watson's run that it has missed the chart the day after it aired. Paramount+ reality series Ink Master debuted a new season and charted two days, peaking at #8.

HBO Max:

A new breakout hit has emerged on HBO Max, right on cue. HBO's latest Sunday night drama, IT: Welcome to Derry, debuted this week and went straight to #1. There was perhaps no series more fitting to debut the week of Halloween than the latest take on Stephen King's iconic shape-shifting demon clown. In celebration of the holiday, HBO released the second episode, which will air on November 2 on linear HBO, to HBO Max on Friday, helping to cement what already looked pretty likely to happen even without that upload: Welcome to Derry sweeping the #1 spot since the day of its debut. It replaced Task at #1 after that popular miniseries had likely its final day at #1 on Sunday. Task remained in the top five the entire week, ranking #4 by week's end - not too shabby for a show that ended its run almost two weeks ago now. Also remaining solid was The Chart Company. The Tim Robinson surrealist comedy spent over half the week at #2 on HBO Max's chart, never dropping below #3 on the chart. HBO talk series Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight were also among the top series on the service. Real Time peaked at #2 and charted four days, while Last Week Tonight peaked at a lower #3, but was in the top ten for the entire week. HBO Max original animated cartoon Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake charted three days this week, peaking at #4. It was a down week for Smiling Friends, but for good reason: the Adult Swim cartoon didn't air a new episode this week. That it remained in the top ten all week regardless is still impressive, given how inconsistent other shows on the network tend to chart. Case in point: Haha, You Clowns did air this week, and like its debut week, charted only one day. Food Network's Halloween Baking Championship wrapped its run this week and had its worst showing of the season, charting just one day after spending most of its run charting for most - if not all - of the week. Other unscripted cable series to chart this week included fellow Food Network series Halloween Wars, HGTV's Scariest House in America, TLC's Baylen Out Loud and 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Discovery's Deadliest Catch, and ID's The Friday the 13th Murders.
