Monday
The Voice occupies the first two hours of the night during the Blind Audition stage, just like it has for over a decade. Like last season, this will eventually be trimmed down to one hour with a comedy block at 8 pm.
New drama The Rockford Files, a so-called ‘contemporary update of the classic series of the same name,’ airs after The Voice at 10 pm. That makes it one of two new dramas on NBC’s fall schedule.
Tuesday
For the few weeks before NBA Coast 2 Coast returns, The Voice continues to occupy the first two hours of the night. It leads into the second season premiere of 2025 ‘larger-than-life adventure competition series’ Destination X, which is currently casting its second season with production slated to begin in June.
The Voice, The Rockford Files, and Destination X are considered three of the Last Four Series On. With nine scripted pilots in development, a schedule with just one cycle of The Voice is plausible, and The Rockford Files has competition from four other drama pilots. Meanwhile, Destination X serves in the early fall filler role that On Brand with Jimmy Fallon served this year, rather than a fall schedule tentpole.
Wednesday
Like it has since the 2018-19 TV season, Chicago Med, Fire, and PD occupy Wednesday nights. It marks their ninth season airing together on Wednesdays.
Thursday
Like fall 2025, Thursdays is another all-Dick Wolf night. This time around, it is not an all-Law & Order night. While Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU still occupy 8 and 9 pm, respectively, new Dick Wolf drama What The Dead Knows joins the schedule at 10 pm.
Law & Order is considered one of the four Last Four Series On. If renewed, it could plausibly be saved for midseason should NBC want to fit a third new drama on the fall schedule and make space for more scripted dramas outside of Dick Wolf-produced series.
Friday
Prior to the premiere of a Friday comedy hour, Destination X airs a second hour in the 8 pm time slot. A two-hour Dateline NBC closes out the night.
Saturday
College Football on NBC will continue to occupy the entirety of Saturday nights. NBC has the rights to Big Ten football games through 2029.
Sunday
NBC Sunday Night Football will take the entirety of Sundays in the fall. NBC holds those rights through the 2033-34 NFL season.
