Wednesday TV Ratings 5/8/24: Survivor Slips but Remains Dominant, Abbott Elementary Builds on Jeopardy! Masters, Animal Control Rises for Finale [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: CBS's Survivor (0.75, -0.05) cooled down a bit but remained the top-rated program of the evening. The Amazing Race (0.37, -0.05) dropped by the same amount as its lead-in. On ABC, Jeopardy! Masters (0.42, +0.02) was up a bit from Monday's episode but a single hundredth lower than last week's premiere. At 9, Abbott Elementary (0.43, +0.03) built on Jeopardy! and climbed to its highest rating since March, but The Conners (0.28, -0.02) went even lower at 9:30. On Fox, The Masked Singer (0.38, -0.01) dipped, but Animal Control (0.19, +0.02) ended its sophomore season with an uptick. Chicago Med (0.43, +0.03) and Chicago Fire (0.46, +0.04) rose on NBC, but Chicago PD (0.37, -0.04) lost a few hundredths. The CW's Walker (0.07, +0.01) inched up, while Sight Unseen (0.03, -0.01) faded away.
