America's Next Top Model Picked Up by VH1

After The CW cancelled long-running reality series America's Next Top Model in the fall after 22
cycles, VH1 has been rumored to be in negotiations to pick up the show. Today it happened. However, Tyra Banks will not return as host.

America's Next Top Model ended its run on The CW with a 0.37 A18-49 demo, its lowest ever. The CW never announced it as a final season though, so maybe it would have done better if that happened. Regardless, it certainly is a small fraction of its former self; the 2nd cycle averaged a 3.01 demo, and hit a high of a 3.8. Over the past 5 years it's been falling almost exponentially.

Score one for The TV Ratings Guide. If you recall our Reality Renew/Cancel Watch had it as a renewal, and a renewal it got.
