Tuesday TV Ratings 11/9/21: Supergirl Ends Steady, The Bachelorette Hits Another New Low, La Brea Rebounds Behind Rising The Voice (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The CW's 'Supergirl' (0.10/0.08) closed out its six-season run in unremarkable fashion, rising a touch from last week (0.07) but not attracting an audience much larger than usual for its two-hour finale. On NBC, 'The Voice' (0.78, +0.01) ticked up after taking last week off and was the top telecast of the evening. 'La Brea' (0.58, +0.15) rebounded in a big way with the return of an original 'Voice' lead-in and 'New Amsterdam' (0.36, +0.10) got back a precious tenth. After being preempted for the 'World Series' for two weeks in a row, Fox's 'The Resident' (0.52, +0.08) somehow managed to post a new season high and 'Our Kind of People' (0.35, +0.07) tied its previous high. On ABC, 'The Bachelorette' (0.56, -0.11) lost a tenth and fell to another new low but new drama 'Queens' (0.30, +0.02) gained two-hundredths. CBS's 'FBI' (0.72, +0.14) and 'FBI: International' (0.51, +0.05) both surged but 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.44) merely held steady.

Finals Update: 'The Bachelorette' (+0.1) and 'Our Kind of People' (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 11/2/21: World Series Ends Up And Still Dominant, La Brea Sinks, The Bachelorette and FBI: Most Wanted Eye New Lows (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: With the Atlanta Braves scoring their first win in the championship since 1995, the sixth and final game of the '2021 World Series' (3.37, +0.23) rose by just over two-tenths and easily surpassed the other five games in the Nielsen ratings. As the Fox network enjoyed one last evening of Tuesday dominance, ABC's 'The Bachelorette' (0.67) took the second-place slot, down by four-hundredths from last week's telecast. At 10, struggling drama 'Queens' (0.28, -0.03) dropped to its lowest rating on record. CBS's 'FBI' trio had a rough return after three weeks off, with dramas 'FBI' (0.58, -0.12) and 'FBI: International' (0.46, -0.12) both falling by a little more than a tenth. 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.44, -0.19) suffered the harshest decline of the three and crashed to a new series low. On NBC, 'La Brea' (0.43, -0.16) crumbled without an original 'Voice' lead-in and took 'New Amsterdam' (0.26, -0.11) down with it. The 8pm 'Voice' clip show (0.54) still comfortably outrated both drama offerings. The 'Stargirl' finale (0.12) and 'Supergirl' (0.07) shed two-hundredths apiece on the CW.

Finals Update: '2021 World Series Game 6' (+0.7) and 'The Bachelorette' (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 10/26/21: World Series Opens Higher Than 2020, The Bachelorette Eyes New Low, The Voice and La Brea Rise (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: The first game of the 2021 World Series (2.52) rose by a tenth from 2020's opening game (2.4), elevating Fox to the top of the Tuesday-night landscape. Seemingly unfazed by the extra competition, NBC's 'The Voice' (0.77) gained a tenth after setting a new low last week. Dramas 'La Brea' (0.59, +0.04) and 'New Amsterdam' (0.37, +0.03) each picked up a couple hundredths, with this marking the first time that 'Brea' has risen in its run. Over on ABC, 'The Bachelorette' (0.71, -0.08) and 'Queens' (0.31, -0.05) forfeited a few hundredths from premieres that were already underwhelming. 'Stargirl' (0.14, +0.04) and 'Supergirl' (0.09, +0.01) were both on the rise on the CW. CBS was once again in repeat-mode, broadcasting encores of 'FBI' (0.44), 'FBI: International' (0.37), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.33).

Finals Update: Game 1 of the '2021 World Series' (+0.2), NBC's 'The Voice' (+0.1), 'The Bachelorette' (+0.1), and the repeat of 'FBI: International' (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 10/19/21: Queens Premieres Weak, The Bachelorette Hits Series Low in Premiere, The Voice Also Below Average (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: Although the season premiere of 'The Bachelorette' (0.79) topped all other competitors, it came in five-tenths below its August finale. ABC's rotten luck continued in the 10pm timeslot as new drama 'Queens' (0.36) couldn't even retain half of the 'Bachelorette' audience for its series debut. NBC's 'The Voice' (0.66) replicated Monday's trajectory by losing two-tenths from the week-ago broadcast. 'La Brea' (0.55) held up far better in comparison, down just eight-hundredths overall. At 10, 'New Amsterdam' (0.34) dropped by three-hundredths. Over on Fox, 'The Resident' (0.44, -0.01) and 'Our Kind of People' (0.28, -0.05) experienced some minor slippage, with the latter sinking to a new low. 'Stargirl' (0.10) and 'Supergirl' (0.08) lost two-hundredths and one-hundredth respectively on the CW. CBS's reruns of 'FBI' (0.38), 'FBI: International' (0.43), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.35) rivaled the ratings of many of the evening's original telecasts.

Finals Update: 'The Bachelorette' (+0.1), 'The Voice' (+0.1), 'La Brea' (+0.1), and the repeat of 'FBI: International' (+0.1) adjusted up.

Tuesday TV Ratings 9/14/21: LEGO Masters Ends Steady, Family Game Fight Rises in Special Slot, Bachelor in Paradise and AGT Lead (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: On a night with much upward momentum, Fox's 'LEGO Masters' (0.45) gained a few hundredths for its second season finale but still remained in a distant third in the 8pm slot. At 9, 'Fantasy Island' (0.26) crashed back to its usual level after gaining two-tenths for a special Sunday installment. On ABC, sturdy 'Bachelor in Paradise' (0.96) and meager 'Ultimate Surfer' (0.31) both rose by a tenth. NBC's 'America's Got Talent' (0.90) came within striking distance of 'Paradise' while 'Family Game Fight!' (0.47) was well above 'Surfer' at 10. CBS had reruns of 'FBI' (0.32/0.29) and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.25). 'Stargirl' (0.09) and 'Supergirl' (0.06) remained at the same rounded rating on the CW.

Finals Update: ''Bachelor in Paradise' (+0.1), 'LEGO Masters' (+0.1), and the repeat of 'FBI: Most Wanted' (+0.1) adjusted up.
