After what will be nine seasons on the air, including six on ABC and three on Fox, Mike Baxter and the folks of Outdoor Man will sign off for good after its upcoming season. The show was a solid player for ABC before its cancellation due to high costs, and was revived by Fox a year later. Initially a blockbuster performer for Fox on Fridays, ratings eroded upon a move to Thursdays, though the show remained a respectable performer. In its eight seasons thus far, the show aired 173 episodes, and will have just shy of 200 by the time it wraps season nine. This will make it among the longest-running live-action comedies of all-time upon its ending. Last Man Standing stars Tim Allen in a lead role, alongside Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Amanda Fuller, Jordan Masterson, Christoph Sanders and Jonathan Adams.
