TV Ratings 1/10/17: This Is Us Returns To Series High, NBC Obama Coverage Wins 9 PM (UPDATED)

Tuesday night saw President Barack Obama say farewell to his time as POTUS, and NBC's coverage of the address beat out the other networks. It also was the night that This Is Us returned from its monthlong hiatus, and pulled a 2.6 in its special 10 PM time slot. SHIELD also returned on ABC, and it received a 0.8, up from its latest performance in 2016. While CBS took the night off, ABC, Fox and NBC aired their typical 8 PM shows, and NBC won out this time. No Tomorrow on The CW had another low result in its penultimate episode.

Update for This Is Us: It is being reported that This Is Us actually received a series-high 3.0, UP from its midseason finale and up four tenths from preliminary results.
